Our Bettyhill Gymnasts were presented with their Coaches Awards this week.
We also purchased a new wedge to help with their training - as you can see they've gone from a teenie tiny wedge to SUPER SIZED!! And it looks like the Advanced girls are delighted with the purchase!

As well as our Stars of the Week in our Beginners and Junior classes, we've introduced "Earn Your Stars" for our Intermediate gymnasts.
Stars can be earned for:

β’ Perseverance
β’ Or being in the gym and enjoying gymnastics!
Our first Star went to Maisie β
Maisie has been working incredibly hard on her bridge kickovers. Her excellent listening, determination, and refusal to give up paid off tonight when she did her bridge kickover on the floor without any coach support.

A glimpse into our Competitive Squads Saturday morning session.
Alongside strength & conditioning, line work and routine preparation, our gymnasts also get to spend time working on the skills they've chosen to learn.

We are now preparing for our upcoming competitions in October and November. Our competition calendar has been incredibly busy this year, but our girls have continued to show just how talented and dedicated they are, delivering outstanding gymnastics at every event we've competed in.

This week we welcomed back all our gymnasts for another fantastic session! It was wonderful to see our classes remaining full, and we hope everyone who moved into a new class had a great first session and enjoyed settling in with their new group.
Weβre excited for the 2026/27 session and are confident it will be just as fun, engaging and successful as previous years. Hereβs to another amazing year of learning, progress and happy gymnasts ππ€

As we come to the end of our Handstand World Tour, we just wanted to say a huge thank you to all our gymnasts who have taken part.
It has been so much fun seeing all the pictures and discovering the amazing places around the world - and right here in bonnie Scotland - that our gymnasts have been.
Itβs been a brilliant way to keep everyone engaged, active and practising their gymnastics throughout the summer break, and weβve loved seeing all your handstands along the way - what a fantastic tour itβs been.

Some of our Thurso gymnasts were out performing at the Junior Pipe Band Fun Day over at Millbank, while our Bettyhill gymnasts were showcasing their skills at their local Gala.
We love taking part in events like these.
As a club, we get to see our brilliant gymnasts working hard and developing their skills every week, but itβs not always possible for everyone to see just how talented, dedicated and amazing our kids are.
These performances give them the chance to get out there, show off what theyβve been learning and share their love of gymnastics with the wider community.

Weβve LOVED seeing where our gymnasts' summer adventures have taken them.
From far-flung destinations to handstands at home with friends and family, our gymnasts have taken us on quite the journey.

HANDSTAND WORLD TOUR π
Another week means more locations on our Handstand World Tour.
This week we've had handstands from Spain and Scotland, which included a few handstands from the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow!
We absolutely love seeing where our Handstand World Tour takes us each week. Whether it's at home, on holiday, or at a major sporting event, it's fantastic to see our gymnasts taking on the challenge and sharing their adventures with us.
