Jowett School of Dance Students ages 3+ accepted - The best priced, licensed dance school in our area, based in Derbyshire.

Based at Degas Studio in Tibshelf, Derbyshire, The Jowett School Of Dance has given many students of dance the opportunity to not only improve their abilities in the field of dance, but also to gain the tools required to become a professional, confident performer and pass examinations carried out officially by the IDTA Examination Board, allowing them recognition and reward for their efforts. The School also holds an annual dance show so that the students can perform professionally in front of an audience and experience a tightly run theatre show in which they are the stars!

It was lovely to meet all the students for our new classes last week.

We had great singing voices in the new 'Junior Spotlighters' class (Wednesdays 4:15pm-4:45pm) and lots of energy from the new 'Mini Movers' class (Thursdays 5:30pm- 6:00pm).

We are excited to bring you the following NEW classes from September 15th Degas Studios, Tibshelf.
ADULT CLASSES
Tuesday 8.00pm - 8.30pm
Adult Ballet for over 18yrs. Suitable for anyone who has danced before and would like to reconnect with the joy of Ballet.
Tuesday 8.30pm - 9.00pm for over 18yrs. Suitable for anyone wanting to learn routines in Commercial, Lyrical, Jazz etc.
Wednesday 7.30pm - 8.30pm (6 week session)
Adult Gentle Ballet - Suitable for beginners & improvers in an encouraging setting.
CHILDRENS CLASSES
Wednesday 4.15pm - 4.45pm
Musical Theatre Junior Spotlighters class.
For 5yrs- 12yrs who enjoy group singing, dancing & acting.
Thursday 5.30pm - 6.00pm
Mini Movers Freestyle class.
