Turning Pink and Blue for and remembering all our angels flying high.
The team of extraordinary dads here at Sands United lean on each other daily, but also come together more so this week as we say our babies names loud and proud together.
We speak of them daily but this week is marked with a ceremony that is marked across the nation by lighting candles and turning pink and blue to highlight it more that ever.
you’re ever struggling or in need of support, reach out and contact us. We are United 💙💖

Last week we shared the pitch with new team and welcomed them to the world of charity football. They play to remember, as do we.
The game was played in great spirits and we wish them well in their future games. We will see you next year to continue the Angels Cup!

Between ourselves and we currently hold the honour of representing 107 angels, it’s been the one of my biggest blessings in life to be able to witness how these two groups help the families of Kent and despite the constant heartbreak of our losses I can not help but feel blessed to be here with such an amazing brotherhood and family of support around me.
A special thank you to those of you who are helping us put on the nights ceremony and we are looking forward to spending it with you all 🧡💙🩷

Baby loss awareness week - early notice we are putting hosting another BLAW game this year and are inviting you all to come and join us in remembrance.
Last year we were blessed to have a game down in Margate where we hosted our first candle lighting ceremony, it was a special moment for all of our members as-well as their families and instantly became one of our best memories shared.
This year we will be at the longmead stadium (TN10 3JF) on the 11th of October, if we could ask you to arrive for around 7:30pm with the aim to start the remembrance ceremony around 8:00pm, we will provide everything for those of you coming to get involved, if you want to bring a personal keepsake again (like we did last year) then please do, seeing so many prized teddies and photos together was truly a honour of ours.
There will be a extra few surprises on the night to try and make it special, and if you wanted to stay for the football too, there will be a game between ourselves and our brothers at kicking off at 8:30pm and I know any extra support on the night would mean the world to our dads
🧡💙

Children are heading back to school this week and we know this can be a difficult time for anyone who has experienced pregnancy or baby loss.
As social media is filled with images of little ones starting out on the new academic year we know milestones like these can be a reminder of what should have been.
We understand 💙🧡
Sending all our love to anyone finding this time of year difficult. We are here if you need us 💙🧡

A huge thank you to everyone who has played a part in where this club is today. We cant wait for the next 5 years 🧡💙

On Sunday the 15th of October we mark the end of baby loss awareness week with a special fixture against Sands United FC Kent
Margate Football Club have been kind enough to allow us to use their fantastic pitch and facilities for this special game. Everybody at both clubs is excited for this match up and can’t wait to share the pitch for our united cause.
We hope to see as many supporters there as possible to cheer on the dads on such a big occasion
All money raised will be going directly to Sands, the stillbirth & neonatal death charity 🧡💙
