Eat better, not less!
A common misconception when it comes to dieting is that you need to reduce your intake. Whilst that is true, it is not realistic to drastically change the way you eat.
You need to steadily reduce your calorie intake and train your body to get used to the reduction. Sometime a sudden change can shock the body.
My advice is to only reduce your intake if you are genuinely eating and snacking too much. Stick to decent sized portions, not too big, not too small. But make sure what is on your plate is the right stuff that you need!

What is success?
For me it can be as small as the first step you’ve taken to change your lifestyle. That could be writing up a meal plan or workout, hiring a personal trainer,making your first healthy meal or ordering a supplement that is going to help you reach your goal. Or it can be as big as losing your goal weight in the timeframe you have yourself.
Everything that you achieve is a success, no matter how small it is. The main thing we need is consistency. That’s the toughest part.
For me, the biggest point in this photo for success is discipline. Are you disciplined enough to keep to your meal plan, your workout. Are you getting enough sleep so that you can wake up early enough before work to train? Training is all about discipline and if you’re disciplined and consistent, that’s what success looks like to me.

3 months from now, you will thank yourself.
It takes three months to form a habit as they say. This much is true.
You will never regret a workout, or eating healthily. But you’ll regret not exercising, saying you’ll start tomorrow and you’ll always regret eating unhealthily.
Only you can make this change.
I guarantee that 4 weeks in, you’ll look back and think ‘This has been so difficult, but so rewarding’ and you’ll feel so much better about yourself.
At the moment, we live in a strange time with current events. But it has never been a better time to start.
Get to it and start today, not tomorrow.

Make sure we are taking advantage of the extra time we have at home.
Wake up at the same time you would when commuting to work and put to use that time by exercising - walk, jog, do a HIIT session. Everything is there readily available for you, including me if you need advice.
Don’t waste this time by sleeping in more. Exercise and spend more time with your loved ones. Keep yourself as fit and as healthy as you can!

My must haves for your fridge
Of course it is up to you on what you have in the fridge and it’s okay to have sweet treats occasionally. But these are just some of what gets bought every shopping trip.
I understand there are many different diets out there that won’t have some if not any of these ingredients. You just need to find what works for you.
P.S. Peanut butter stays in the larder/cupboards not the fridge. Let me know if you agree!
