To be part of the re building of this team has been an honour. Love of the sport and pure determination has made our season absolutely unbeatable in many ways! We have a base team of players who have been unwavering from one season to the next, two players who have returned to the pitch after some 20 years away and then the 6 or so players who had never even held a rugby ball let alone played a match, and two coaches who quite honestly are beyond incredible! To then have a season where we stand unbeaten is somewhat emotional, we have made friends and built a team on love and friendship and thatβs where success is formed. It has also not gone unnoticed that our neighbouring teams have helped us along the way, and joined the spirit of our team for a few matches here and there, you ladies are more appreciated than you know! So, to all our supporters we thank you, to our club we hope we do you proud and to anyone who wants to pick up a ball and play for the love of the sport and to be part of a team, please get in touch, you will never regret it πβ€οΈπ€πβ€οΈπ€

This Sunday saw a return home fixture against Gravesend, and there was tension in the build-up. Gravesend came with a point to prove, having put strong scores on others, and after last time out, we knew they would return with plenty of fight.
From the first whistle it was clear this would be a physical game, with fierce rucking across the pitch. TJβs answered the challenge immediately, opening the scoring through Fi, with Marsh converting. A strong team move followed, before a big break from prop Niamh gained huge metres and Katie was taken over the line for the score.
Gravesend responded with a try of their own, but with the conversion missed, TJβs pushed on and Marsh added another before half-time.
The second half continued in much the same way. TJβs were reminded to play our game and ignore the noise, and thatβs exactly what they did. A wide pass saw Mary break through and find Fi for another try, before Gravesend crossed again but were unable to convert. TJβs responded immediately, with Kimbo taking quick ball from the ruck and sending Poppy over between the posts, Marsh converting once again.
With Gravesend reduced to 14, TJβs took full advantage, and the final try came from Fi, followed by another Marsh conversion. Full time: TJβs Ladies 45β10 Gravesend, keeping us unbeaten this season.
This team is the epitome of what rugby stands for. Every player makes a difference β whether new to the game, returning after time away, or playing for years. The teamwork, bond and support within this squad continues to drive our success. Thank you as always for the family we have at Cranbrook, we love you guys β€οΈ

The last two Sundays have been busy for the TJβs ladies.
Last Sunday, 11th January, was an away fixture to Sheppey on a very blustery, cold day, and although the scoreline of 59-0 suggests a walkover, I can assure you it was far from that. Sheppey put up a great fight and also played every second in the spirit of the game. We wish them all the best, and we look forward to the return match at the end of the season..
Massive thank you to all travelling support, appreciated as always β€οΈπ€π

Match Report: Tunbridge Wells v Tonbridge Juddians Women
A fiercely competitive start saw both sides defending hard and trading turnovers. TW struck first, but TJs hit back immediately through Remmie to level it at 5β5. The first half stayed tight, with Molly crossing and Marsh adding the extras to edge TJs ahead 10β12 at the break.
The second half began with TW regaining the lead, but TJs soon found their rhythm. A superb 50:22 frpm Fi set the platform for tries from Fi and Vick (her first ever π), both converted by Marsh. The forwards dominated the ruck, keeping momentum and territory. Taz sealed the win with a final try, and TJs ran out 20β33 winners in a physical, hard-fought battle.
π₯ A deserved victory that keeps TJs top of the league!
Thank you for hosting and for a great derby game, we look forward to having you for the return fixture.
Massive thanks to everyone who came down to support, appreciated as always β€οΈπ€π
