What a night for the Cambrian United Warriors 60s.

Proud doesn’t even cover it.
Tonight our lads were officially presented with the Championship Trophy by Hedley Austin, Chair of the Welsh Walking Football Federation — a moment that recognises every ounce of graft, spirit and togetherness they’ve shown all season.
Three wins on Sunday.
Top of the table on 22 points.
Champions — and promoted to the 2027 Premiership.
Seeing the smiles, the pride, and the respect in that presentation says everything about what this squad has achieved. The photos below capture it perfectly.
To all our Warriors across the U50s, 50s, and 60+ — thank you to everyone who came to support.

Promoted to the 2027 Premiership.

And they finished the job in style — 3 games on Sunday, 3 wins, taking them top on 22 points.

Club Update: Temporary Schedule Change (August)For the last two weeks of August, we’ll be playing on Tuesday evenings, 7–9pm, while the futsal pitch at the Cambrian FC grounds is being replaced.There will be no Sunday sessions for the next two weeks because we’re away at Calidot this Saturday and Cwmbran on the 23rd.Back to normal once the pitch work is complete.

Cracking Sunday session in the sunshine.
Proper shift put in across the board.

Big welcome to new player Shaun, who slotted in brilliantly and already looks a real asset for the under‑50s squad.
Touches were tidy, energy was high, and the camaraderie was spot on.

All eyes now on next Saturday as we gear up for the Caldicot Summer Tournament, with both our 50s and 60s squads ready to represent the Warriors. Momentum’s good, spirits are high — let’s carry it straight into the weekend.

Come and join us every Thursday 7-9pm at Cambrian United FC 3g pitch, and every Sunday 10-11am at the Ely Valley Miners club.

We are Cambrian United Warriors — and today we’re buzzing to announce that we’ve secured two fantastic sponsors who believe in what we’re building here in the Rhondda.

Walking football has grown into a proper support network for men in our area. It gives lads a place to belong, to talk, to laugh, to stay active, and to feel part of something again.
