My husband Sam and I are moving home out of the Rhondda, so I needed a gym that I could more easily commute to... but one that wasnโ€™t too far away for my Rhondda based clients. These sessions will take place in the run up to announcing a training squad for the 2022 Junior Touch Championships and 2023 Youth World Cup.

We are looking to identify players between the ages of 13-18 with the skills to play elite Touch and therefore no previous touch experience is required.

This is the safest way to hold an event, without any risk of COVID being spread through the use of obstacles. It wonโ€™t be all picturesque gardens and woodland, weโ€™re throwing in some tough terrain and natural obstacles ๐Ÿ’ฆ punishing hills and ponds throughout the course.

In the past, you have blown us away with your generosity in our appeals. We are asking for your support once again, are now supporting the people of the Ukraine.

If you are able to make any kind of donation, no matter how small, it can be dropped off in the bar any evening from 6.30. We will then arrange to drop it to the regional depot for transportation. This is brilliant news & well deserved. You may remember that Kayleigh did a few sessions for us in the summer of 2019 whilst she was recovering from her ACL injury.

Two more retainer contracts signed!
Bristol Bears full-back and Ospreys in the Community participation officer Kayleigh Powell and Gloucester-Hartpury second row Sisilia Tuipulotu, who is studying psychology at the University of Gloucestershire have joined the performance programme.

The benefits of early morning exercise.
1. Movement activates the brain. When your body moves, your brain grooves!
2. Increased blood flow, heart rate, dopamine & BDNF
3. Increased dopamine = Increased sense of pleasure, achievement & satisfaction
4. Increased BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor) enhances brain function & brain power. You will feel more alert & productive for the rest of the morning!
5. It's done! You don't have to try and make time during the day or fit it in after work.

How to set yourself up for exercising in the morning.
1. Go to bed early, 9pm at the latest. This works brilliantly if you are a late night snacker. You don't need those biscuits, go to bed!
2. Set your Training Kit out ready to get dressed before you go to bed.
3. Don't press snooze! Place your alarm/phone outside the bedroom door so you have to get up!
4. Rise & Shine, go train and turn your body into an early morning fat burning machine.
5. Give it a go for a month!! Try Twice or Three times a week. Change your routine, change your results!

We also offer a 6 Month Transformation Programme that includes monthly assessments and help with nutrition, Personal Training packages, Olympic Lifting, Running Group, Ladies Only & Men Only Classes. We have a wide range of classes to suit almost everybody. All sessions are coached by a qualified instructor, you will be shown what to do, monitored,coached and encouraged throughout your sessions. 1:1, Semi Private Group Training and Sports Team sessions are also available.
