Great session with last week. What a talent and more importantly a hard worker!

You can see from the 1st & 2nd graph the work on arc and radius control was starting to dial in with the help of a arc/face relationship template, controlling the amount of right side bend, and helping fix the radius of stroke with solid arm structure.

In the 3rd graph we went away from using a line and started getting Archie to point with his instincts, incredible change in consistency of face aim at address, and we were able to free up the stroke in the process so 2 birds with 1 stone. 🥊 🔥

Great session with .dan last week working on radius control and face/arc relationship. So important to get the fundamentals nailed for start line and pace control! It was really nice to catch up with Dan, we played a lot of junior golf together and he has always been a top class player, but there is always more to work on if you have a growth mindset! 🚀

One of the biggest putting myths that I often hear circulating among amateurs is you either have it or you don’t, this is a fallacy! If you want to make putting your strength this year, sign up for my 5 session putting masterclass on the link below, it’s a game changer! 💪

A big thank you to today for hosting our final U18’s pre season training!

A good morning spent with all the players on the putting green working through flatstick mechanics using and working on routines and optimal green reading strategies for each individual.

scottgolf did some great work with the players on the short-game area working through the expectations required around proximity to hole from 50y & in.

We then took to the course and played a 10 hole stableford really dialling in our on course strategy, in particular bogey avoidance, picking conservative targets, and playing aggressive golf!

As always, a quality day out with some seriously talented players, and all round solid lads! 🚀⛳️

Great session with last week! ⛳️

Main takeaways:

•Connecting to target (using a pointing exercise to check your work, a special!) and not relying on a line on the ball to get ‘feel & touch’ back
•Working on smooth rhythm & tempo to generate solid acceleration profile (6, 9, 12, 15ft ghost hole drill to ingrain feels)

Great work mate, keep putting the hard hours in! 🚀

Another great Fitting Day with the man . What a great fitter he is! Always love sitting in on sessions with him to expand my fitting knowledge. ⛳️ 🏌🏿‍♂️

Hopefully it was a great experience for the members that took part and I’ll look forward to offering another one when the new Titleist woods come out later this year.🔥 🚀

A big thank you to yesterday for hosting our U18’s pre season training!

A good morning spent with me ingraining flatstick fundamentals and essential drills players need to spend time on between sessions. .scottgolf spent some time on RND’s par 3 course spending time on one of the most overlooked parts of the game (between 40-90 yards).

We then all took to the course to go through expectations and game strategy, as always based on statistical data.

Great day out, some very impressive golf played, and we will look forward to our next session in March! 📈

Great session with Harry last week!

The stroke was a soft arc on the backstroke, then linear from top of backswing to finish resulting in an excessive path to the right and twinned with an excessively closed face at impact.

A common fault and here is how we fixed it:

•Moved ball position a little more centre as was too far forward (causing excessive upward rise angle and a need to keep the putter path out to the right to counteract the putter being closed at this late point in the arc)
•Stood few degrees taller to allow arm hang (as seen in video 1 & 2, upper arms retracted to far behind torso engaging to much bigger muscle movement, stroke looked stiff and it stifled his ability for arms to move with freedom)
•As seen in the last video, arc plane matching visio mat, in particular on way through looks completely different! You can see in picture 3 & 4 how face plane & arc plane relationship have improved immeasurably! 🚀

Drills given:
•Holing out Chalk line straight putt
•Visio putting template grade 1 (to match rotation rate)

Going to be moving the needle for 2026 season! 🔥

Great session last week with Tyler predominantly working on face plane. What a fantastic flowing natural stroke this lad has! 👌🏻

There was too much rotation of the blade throughout the stroke, here’s how we quietened this down:

Area to improve: Too much rotation of the torso and marginally over active rotation of lower forearms (combined together creating excessive club face rotation).

Solution: We used a tee drill (picture 3) to give Tyler a better understanding of the movement patterns needed to make his face & arc plane match. Least invasive changes, easy feedback, big bang for buck! 💰

See pics 4 & 5 for improvement! 🔥
