🔁 Same injury. Again. Sound familiar?

If you keep getting hurt in the same spot, it's easy to think you're just unlucky or that it's something you have to manage forever. But more often than not, the place that keeps breaking down isn't actually the problem.

Your body is incredibly smart. When something isn't working properly, it finds a way around it, shifting the load onto muscles that weren't designed to carry it. That works for a while. Until it doesn't.

Swipe through to understand why the same injury keeps coming back, what's really going on underneath the surface, and what it actually takes to break the cycle for good. 👉

Tight hamstrings that won't loosen up no matter how much you stretch them!

Every runner knows the feeling. And most runners deal with it the same way, more stretching, more foam rolling, more hoping it goes away before the next run!

Sometimes it eases. But it keeps coming back.
Here's what's actually going on!

When your hamstrings are constantly tight and achey, it's often not a flexibility issue. It's a load issue. Your hamstring is being asked to do too much, usually because something else, most commonly the glutes, isn't pulling its weight during your stride!

So no matter how much you stretch it, you're going straight back out and overloading it again on your next run!

I had a runner come in recently who'd been dealing with this for three months. She was doing everything right on paper, stretching daily, foam rolling, being cautious with her mileage. But she was starting to cut runs short and quietly worrying it was turning into something more serious!

It wasn't. It just needed the right treatment.
We worked through the hamstring, released the tension that had built up around the sciatic nerve, got the glute firing properly again, and gave her one simple drill to do before every run!

Two sessions later she'd done her longest run in months. No tightening. No cutting it short.

She said she wished she'd come in sooner.
If this sounds familiar, stop waiting for it to sort itself out. It won't!

I have availability nexr week. 👇

🏋️ You've done the hard work. But what's actually going on inside your muscles after a tough session?

Most people finish a workout, feel a bit sore the next day, and just push through it. But that soreness is your body sending you a signal, and if you keep ignoring it, it builds up into something harder to shift.

Swipe through to understand exactly what's happening inside your muscles after you train, why that "locked up" feeling doesn't go away on its own, and what you can do to actually recover, not just rest.

Your body works hard for you. Return the favour. Link in bio to book your session. 💪

A dull lower back ache that never fully goes away. Sound familiar?

This is probably the most common thing I see, and the most misunderstood.

Most people assume lower back pain means something is wrong with their back. So they stretch it, rest it, and hope it goes away. Sometimes it eases off. But it keeps coming back!

Here's why:

Sitting for hours every day tightens your hip flexors and slowly switches off your glutes, the muscles that are supposed to take load off your lower back. When they stop doing their job, your lower back picks up the slack. All day, every day!

It's not your back that's the problem. It's everything around it!

One of my clients had been dealing with this for over a year. A quick stretch every morning, the occasional ibuprofen, just getting on with it. By the time he came in it had become his new normal!

It shouldn't be!

A few targeted sessions to release the hip flexors, wake the glutes back up and take the pressure off the lumbar spine, and he said the morning stiffness he'd lived with for a year was gone!

That's not magic. That's just treating the actual cause.
If this sounds like you, don't keep putting it off. It doesn't get better on its own.

I have availability next week. 👇

🦶 Foam roller in the corner. Muscles still tight. Sound familiar?

Both foam rolling and sports massage have a place in your recovery, but they're not doing the same job. One maintains, one resets.

If you've been rolling away at the same spot for weeks and nothing's changing, your body is probably telling you it needs something a little deeper.

Swipe through to find out what each one actually does, where they work best, and how to use both to get the most out of your training. 👉

She'd had daily headaches for months and just accepted it as normal!

A desk job, long hours, and years of tension had built up to the point where her upper back and neck were constantly locked. She'd stretched. She'd tried the gym. Nothing shifted it.

This is one of the most common things I see, and one of the most overlooked!

When you sit for hours every day, certain muscles switch off and others overcompensate. Over time that tension creeps up into your neck, the base of your skull, and before long you've got headaches you can't explain and shoulders that live up around your ears.

It's not just "stress." Your body is telling you something.

After a few targeted sessions working through the root cause, not just the symptoms, her headaches were gone and she said she felt like she was sitting taller without even thinking about it.

That's what sports massage can do when it's done properly.

If you're sitting at a desk all day and you've been carrying tension you can't shift, don't wait until it gets worse.

I've got availability over the coming weeks!
