Plainmoor Community Pool also known as Swim Torquay Limited is a heated 25 meter, 4 lane swimming pool. Our facility is used by many audiences.
This enables children and adults to participate in swimming lessons, which is very important in Torbay. Lots of different activities that run all throughout the day and week! Come and get a timetable from the Reception to see what you would like to try. Our activities include Aquasize, swimming lessons, club swimming, water mobility, parent and tots and fun sessions.

New data shows that children from the most deprived communities are significantly less likely to leave primary school able to swim 25 metres and self-rescue, despite these being essential life-saving skills.
No child should miss out on learning vital water safety and swimming skills because of their background.
RLSS UK is calling for a national drowning prevention strategy, a dedicated Minister for Water Safety and Drowning Prevention, and urgent action to tackle inequalities in access to swimming education that are increasing the risk of preventable drowning deaths.
It's time for coordinated action to ensure every child has access to the skills they need to stay safe around in, on, and around water.

Things are just getting better and better at Swim Torquay 🏊💙
We're delighted to share that our brand new pool platform has arrived
Thanks to the generous funding from Torbay on the Move, we've been able to purchase this fantastic piece of equipment, which will make our pool even more accessible for everyone.
The platform will play a key role in supporting our new SEND swimming classes, which start next week. We can't wait to welcome our new swimmers and provide an inclusive, supportive environment where everyone can enjoy the water and build confidence.
A huge thank you to Torbay on the Move for helping us make swimming more accessible for our community 🌊✨
