Sometimes it’s less about pushing harder,
and more about paying attention to what actually makes you feel good.
Less intensity.
More intention.
Taking the pressure off.
Starting small.
Building habits you want to come back to 🤍

How I approach training now, going into my 40s, looks very different to how it did going into my 30s.
I don’t train just to push harder or do more for the sake of it. Instead, I focus on routines I can repeat, recover from, and actually sustain long term.
Training doesn’t need to feel chaotic or exhausting to be effective. A calmer, more intentional approach has been a huge game changer for me, and it’s helped me feel stronger both physically and mentally.
If training feels overwhelming and you’re not sure where to start, feel free to message me. 🤍

Something I’ve been more aware of lately is how easily we can become overstimulated: mentally, emotionally, energetically, without really noticing.
Sometimes it’s not one big thing, just a build-up of noise, input, and perceived expectations.
For me, that can show up as feeling much quieter or overwhelmed, which can feel strange when you’re used to moving through things with confidence.
Training is one of the ways I regulate that.
Slowing reps down. Focusing on my breath. Noticing how I’m moving and coming back into my body.
Strength work gives my nervous system something steady to return to.
No fixing. No over-analysing.
Just grounding, feeling calmer, and letting it carry over into everyday life.🤍

Not rules. Just reflections.
Things I’m leaning into and gently releasing as I move forward.
