Good luck to our Athletes, Colin, Saffron, Katy and Ben, competing in the OceanPerf UK Challenge today in Portreath. This competition is the 3rd and final event in the series. The rankings from the last 2 events are in the photos.
They will be competing against National and International athletes representing Mundesley Surf Lifesaving Club

Then it was onto the Seniors, again teams from North Norfolk Surf Lifesaving Club and Waveney Surf Life Saving Club.
Competition was fierce and there were some close races.
Another successful event and a perfect evening on the beach.
Thanks to all who attended and we will see you all again on the 19th July when the final event will be hosted by Waveney SLSC. 💙🩵🤍

Sunday saw the second Twilight event held on our beach between North Norfolk Surf Lifesaving Club Waveney Surf Life Saving Club and ourselves. The Nippers were first to compete and as you can see from the photos they put their all into it.
The competition was friendly rivalry and it was lovely to see the interaction between the clubs building solid friendships.
All in all another successful afternoon, we now move onto the final event hosted by Waveney on Sunday 19th July.

Another fantastic Nippers session last night, building confidence and allowing them the freedom to enjoy.
All 3 groups trained together as numbers were low, I think there was some sort of football match going on!
The encouragement from the more confident ones to the younger ones was lovely to see.

T he first event of our interclub competition series for Nippers is scheduled to take place tomorrow morning at 9am, where children between the ages of 7 and 13 will demonstrate their skills and speed on land and sea, highlighting their skill, strategic thinking, endurance, and sportsmanship. If you are interested in seeing the future generation of lifesavers in action and find out more about Surf Lifesavingin general, we will be located below The Ship Inn.

Fancy something different? We are looking to run some Taster Sessions for Adults. Most likely on a Wednesday evening. Absolutely no experience required, just an attitude to have a go is all that is needed. The sessions will teach you how to be safe in water, keep others safe in water, and learn skills to save lives.
