Falken heads to Austin for Round 3 of the 24H Series Esports, with our BMW M4 GT3 entry ready to take on COTA.

Driver Announcement

Falken Simracing Team & Dörr Esports are pleased to welcome Josh Thompson (.thompson49) to the permanent driver line-up after a series of strong guest appearances with the team.

Josh brings experience from the highest level of iRacing competition. His record includes multiple Porsche Esports Supercup campaigns, a P15 finish in the 2024 championship and GTD victories at the 2025 iRacing Daytona 24 and Petit Le Mans.

He has already shown what he can bring to Falken. At the 24 Hours of Spa, Josh qualified the #44 Ferrari in P4 before helping the crew complete a spotless 24-hour race and secure P6 in class.

His pace, endurance experience and calm ex*****on make him a strong addition to our programme.

The first iRacing edition of the Road America 6 Hours is complete.

A solid six-hour run brought the #33 Corvette home inside the top ten, securing P7 at the flag.

The Dörr car was also in the fight for a top 10 result until contact with an LMP2 caused damage and ended those hopes. Despite the setback, the crew kept going and brought the car home in P21.

The #44 entry showed promise but was unable to reach the finish due to a contact with a LMP2. A difficult result, but the work and pace from the crew give us a foundation to build on.

Victory and a double podium for Alpha One by SX at Oschersleben.

Jonas Wanner converted P4 on the grid into his first win of the season, using a well-timed pit stop to take control of the race. Alessandro Ottaviani completed the result in P3 after playing a key role during the closing stages.

Jonas stayed composed through the opening phase, gained the lead through the pit cycle and controlled the final stint to win by two seconds. Alessandro helped secure the victory by holding back the late charge from fresher tyres behind.
