P4 in Portugal after a race that promised more.

James moved into P2 early and our first-stop no-tyre call put the #44 into the race lead. A connection issue just over an hour in then cost the car the advantage and pushed us off strategy.
From there, James and Niclas worked the car back into contention. By the final hour, Niclas was fighting Maniti for P2 and Falken remained firmly in the podium battle. The last pit cycle did not fall our way, leaving us P4 at the flag.

Not the podium the pace deserved, but a strong recovery and 14 points after six demanding hours at Portimão.

Falken Simracing Team heads to Portimão for Round 4 of the 24H Series Esports, with James Beumee and Niclas Heide sharing the #44 BMW M4 GT3.

Round 3 ended early after mechanical issues forced the car out of the race at COTA. The pace was there, but the result never had the chance to follow.

Portimão is the next opportunity to put that behind us and get the championship campaign back on track.
