Northants County Badminton is hosting a FREE female-only coaching session to encourage more women to join the sport and the county by providing a friendly, fun, safe and positive environment. The session will be held by female fully qualified coaches and will be a mixture of coaching and games.

Did you know we also now run a Junior Badminton Club for 6-11yr olds?

The Autumn term runs from Tue 5th September to Tue 19th December, at £40 for the 15-week term.

The entry form for the 2023 Northants county badminton senior restricted is now open!

Please ensure if you are entering any doubles event that you and your partner both put in entries. Payment is requested on the software straight away.

Please share this around your clubs and friends the more people the better!

Also note if you are looking to play for any of the county teams within the next season then we do encourage you to make every effort to play this restricted.

With this unique 'badminton tournament/festival' (SMASH FEST 2023) we are looking to actively promote & support grass root participation and also offer a platform for club/league players to compete. There will be Winners trophies for all categories!

SMASH FEST 2023 has multiple categories for participation; and be it grass roots player or a club/league affiliated one, we invite entries from all players to participate and enjoy this festival.

SMASH FEST 2023 is supported by BADMINTON England and Stoke Mandeville Stadium we are grateful for their unconditional assistance.

The Northamptonshire Restricted Badminton Tournament will be held on the Saturday 6th- Sunday 7th November 2021, at the Caroline Chisholm School.

The event will run over one weekend with Saturday for the Singles, and Sunday for Doubles.

The event is open to all players that are affiliated with the Northamptonshire Badminton Association, and we would encourage all players to take part - the main goal of this year's tournament is to increase county participation and to encourage members of all levels to take part.
They are also looking for volunteers to help on both days.

At Towcester Badminton Club we are fortunate to able to play at our usual venue, but we know this may not be the case for all local badminton clubs at the moment, therefore we have decided to open up to new and/or visiting players over the Summer period.
