Quick update 🚨

For everyone asking, unfortunately daisy had a fairly large highside in race 3 whilst running P3 at hooten park today! She has been taken to Chester hospital for further checks. Fortunately the injuries are not as bad as we first thought. She has some mild concussion and a broken collarbone. Hopfully they will let her home tonight.

Thankyou to everyone who helped pack away, and make sure we got sorted.

Daisy is in good sprits and has asked if we are still riding on Wednesday 😆

Mixed weekend for Daisy!

Daisy showed she had the pace throughout the practice sessions, topping the timesheets and looking strong from the outset.

Race 1 – P2Daisy set the fastest lap of the race and was closing in on P1, but unfortunately a poor start left her stuck behind traffic for a few laps, making it difficult to challenge for the win.

Race 2 – P3A similar story to Race 1. Another difficult start meant Daisy had to fight her way through the field and ultimately finished P3.

Race 3 – P4A better start from Daisy, but she still couldn't break away with Austin. She had a great battle with Logan, but the time spent racing wheel-to-wheel affected her pace and she was eventually caught out.

I really feel for Daisy. In both rounds 1 and 2 she has shown race-winning pace, but unfortunately she hasn't quite been able to put everything together when it matters most. Anyone who knows Daisy knows how much she wants to win.

Overall, Daisy demonstrated that she has the speed to win races, but we need to work on her starts allowing her to break away at the front and convert that pace into victories.
