Happy Fishy Good Friday all ! Here's wee conger eel poking his head out for a look round. Often seen hiding in holes or plates of wrecks around the UK. Once they reach maturity, which takes between 5 -15 years, they migrate to deep water in the mid-Atlantic to spawn. They spawn only once and die straight after.

Weird and wonderful Wednesday celebrates the peacock worm. It looks like a plant but is actually a worm living in its tube and its head covered in a crown of feather like tentacles comes out of the tube to feed. It soon shoots back into the tube when it detects any motion near it. You need to be sneaky to snap a photo of one!
