Considering the rock hard summer pitch and the 28+ degree heat, every single player out there absolutely grafted from first whistle to last. The effort, attitude and determination from both teams was unreal ☀️🥵
Football in those conditions is no joke, but the quality, commitment and teamwork on show summed up exactly what Ladies football is all about.
We’re proud of every single one of our girls this season. Now it’s time for a well-earned rest… before we hit the off season running

LAST HOME GAME ALERT

Today it’s our FINAL home game of the season as Silverstone WFC take on Rushden… and trust us, it’s not one you want to miss.
2pm kick off.
It’s the penultimate game, so expect a BIG push on the pitch — full effort, full passion and probably a few questionable tackles (all in the name of the beautiful game, of course 😉).
Win, lose or draw… the real victory? The after party 🍻
Head over to the Silverstone Recreational Association - SRA bar with us after the match for a few drinks, plenty of laughs, and maybe even some questionable dance moves
So come down, make some noise, back the girls and celebrate the season with us the only way we know how — football, fun and a cheeky drink or two

Match Day – Final Home Game of the Season! 💙

This Sunday marks our last home game of the 25/26 season — and what a season it’s been!

We want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to Silverstone FC for welcoming us into our new home this year. Your support has meant everything as we’ve continued to grow as a team.

A special mention as well to the amazing people at the SRA for keeping us all going with the bar, coffees, and warm hospitality on match days — it never goes unnoticed ☕🍻

We head into this fixture facing Rushden in our penultimate game of the season, with just one final away match left before we wrap things up.

Let’s make this last home game one to remember — bring the energy, bring the noise, and get behind the team one more time on home turf! ⚽

Full-time at home yesterday and it ends all square — 2–2 — but there’s a feeling around Silverstone WFC that this one is only part of the story. With 5 games to go could we move ourselves up the table?

On a tough, unforgiving surface, the game demanded resilience and that’s exactly what we delivered. The ground was hard, but we were harder — matching challenges, pressing and showing real character throughout.

A special moment on the day as Jasmine bagged her first, hopefully of many, goal with the team. One to watch.

Credit to Harpole for a strong, competitive game that tested both sides right to the final whistle.
But if you’re looking at the bigger picture,

Silverstone WFC will feel this is two points dropped rather than one gained. The performance, the energy, the togetherness — it’s all building. And if we bring this same intensity into the next fixture, you wouldn’t bet against us turning draws into wins very soon.

⚽️ Match Week for Silverstone WFC

A big first for us this week as we head into our very first midweek fixture

We’re on the road to face Heyford Women, and we’re looking forward to getting back out there under the sun ☀️ and (hopefully!) enjoying some much better pitch conditions. The squad is ready, focused and excited to put in a strong performance.

But we don’t stop there… 👀
We roll straight into another big game on Sunday, as we’re back at home to take on Harpole. Two matches, one week – and we’re ready for the challenge 🔥

Spring is finally on the way and we couldn’t be happier!

After what feels like a never-ending run of cancelled matches thanks to the lovely British weather, Silverstone WFC are finally back in the flow. And what better way to restart than with a solid win against Deanshanger under our belts! 💪

The team is fired up, determined, and ready to get back to doing what we love — playing our football, working hard for each other and hopefully enjoying a few matches in the sunshine instead of the rain for a change! ☀️
