We’re hosting a friendly open six-a-side tournament at Ross High RFC, Tranent — and all ages and abilities are welcome.

We’ll have mixed men’s and women’s teams, with equipment available if you need it. The emphasis is firmly on friendly games, getting people playing and having a good afternoon of shinty.

Looking to get active, have some fun, and enjoy a bit of exercise in a relaxed, social environment?
Walking Rugby is the perfect opportunity — and complete novices are very welcome!
👟 What is Walking Rugby?
A low‑impact, non‑contact version of the game focused on fun, teamwork and laughter.
No running, no tackling — just great craic and gentle exercise at your own pace.
✅ Open to everyone – all ages and abilities (including none!)
✅ No experience needed
✅ Free to take part
⏰ Every Thursday, 7:00–7:45pm
🍻 Clubhouse open afterwards for a well‑earned refreshment and a chat.
