Free Sign Up & Free Weekly Sessions to get fit and socialise with likeminded members already enjoying the benefits of being part of a nationwide programme for over a decade to get people moving no matter of shape, size or age.
All sessions are organised and run by trained and licensed Scottish Athletics Jog Leaders who also undertake training on mental health if you were ever to need to chat in confidence.
Once you have joined you are fully covered by Scottish Athletics insurance for all our sessions.

Sessions are currently Thursdays 6.00-6.15 & 6.30-6.45 with various meeting places including Meadowmill Sports Centre, Prestonpans, Tranent, MacMerry, Wallyford, Musselburgh, Longniddry, Port Seton, Ormiston.
Depending on your fitness level, you can walk, jog/walk, jog, run, or we do the occasional fitness sessions. You will not be dragged kicking and screaming to do longer or run faster π€£ than you want to or able to do. And this isn't the xfactor, no one is judging you.
Start from couch to 5k and keep going to achieve higher goals if want to.
No fancy or specialist equipment needed except a comfy pair of running shoes and clothes, and a desire to get out and move yourself.
If you you want to get fit, you need to start somewhere, so why not start with jogscotland.

Hey everyone. We are restarting our beginner/improver group on 31st August.
6 pm @ meadowmill sports centre. (outside) also continuing
6.30 pm group - mix of road /trail. 7k + contact for meeting point.
if you are interested in coming along get in touch. Everyone is welcome

Session 1 : 4,15 for 4.30pm
This session will be aimed towards:
Slow paced intermediate runners. Approx 4 miles
Session 2 : 6.30 for 6.45pm
4 groups for differing abilities:
1. complete beginners - for those who have never run before.
2. beginners 2 - for those who have run before but not for a while or have been out Injured.
3. intermediate- 5/6 miles
4. intermediate- faster paced 5/6 miles
We are a friendly group. Over 16s only
