Is the Christmas Santa gift appeal still open ?

We attended our first sign stars class today, and had a brilliant experience. Firstly, as an SEN mother to find a class that is tailored for my sons communicating needs has genuinely made me so happy. It is something that is missing and so needed in our local community. The play yard was exceptionally clean and well maintained, including the toilets and changing facilities. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The class itself was engaging and informative as well as fun and flexible which is what works best for my son. Professionally ran and not overwhelming for the children. We will definitely be signing up for more classes and returning to the play yard. Thank you!

It’s good to be back!
Well done to all involved at the Play Yard for getting the place Covid safe! I was a little apprehensive about attending as I know how busy Play environments can be but my mind mind was soon put to rest on arrival.
The girls loved the novelty of having their temperature checked (although I’m sure that will wear off) and as any child does....they loved the endless amounts of hand sanitiser 🤦🏼‍♀️! We felt totally safe with the new layout and reduced capacity and we can’t wait to get back to our usual Thursday at the Play yard next week. Well done all!

We went to the The Play Yard on Wednesday and we were absolutely thrilled to see the business thriving and making such an effort to keep all the staff and costomers safe. They have such a brilliant system and the cleanliness was second to none. I was so impressed and felt super safe taking my little ones there. It was easy to socially distance from others as there was plenty of space and the table settings have clearly been thought through. Well done to all the staff at the play yard who have made it a safe and friendly place to be!! I would highly recommend visiting!! I will definitely be returning time and time again!! Diolch yn fawr!!!! 😊

Messy Play classes will be bilingual (Welsh and English) for ages 6 months to 4 years.

We are looking for an Activity Host to join our team to lead activities and parties at The Play Yard Ninja Academy, RCT's first and only Ninja Obstacle Course! The role will also include leading and coordinating our other very popular sports-based party packages such as Football, Dodgeball and Multi Sports Parties.

Job Purpose:

To act as Activity Host and provide a safe and fun experience for all customers and Birthday Parties.

To help and encourage participants to have a fun and enjoyable experience while observing safe and sensible behaviour.

To supervise the Ninja Academy activities and areas as well as engaging with participants and spectators/parents.

Main Objectives:

Demonstrate excellence in Customer Service at all times.

Ensure the activity area is safe for use and continuously monitor Health and Safety and behaviour within the activity area.

Provide guidance and support to participants and demonstrate techniques when required.

Give safety briefing for all sessions.

Co-ordinate the activities and keep participants engaged with challenges, games and physical tests throughout the activity.

Work closely with The Play Yard team and manager to meet objectives.

The rate of pay is National Minimum Wage.

There are no set amount of hours. The candidate will be expected to work as and when required.

The candidate will be expected to be available to work on weekends and additional hours can be expected during school holidays.

Mixed Moo is suitable from 8 weeks up to 4 years old. It's a perfect class for those with multiple children or friendship/families that have children who are different ages. Each session is differentiated to meet the varying ages and needs of the group.
