Everything you need across three days on the Ridgeway is taken care of.

Checkpoints, hot food, luggage transfers and overnight accommodation are all included, or run it your own way with a hotel and your own food. There are no cut-offs, and you can run it or walk it, all three days or a single stage.

The challenge is real. The logistics are handled. Standard entry ends 30 September.

Misty mornings, low autumn light and open ridgelines, with woodland and chalk trails underfoot. For three days, the trail becomes a moving journey through history and landscape.

What happens after day one?

At Druid's Challenge, the evening base is where the day comes back together. Hot food, dry kit, tired legs and conversation with people who have covered the same miles.

You recover, refuel and regroup, then set off again the next morning. It is one of the reasons a three-day journey becomes achievable, and one of the reasons people come back.

No matter the distance you choose, c2c Essex Ultra is built for everyone. Run it, jog it or walk it along the c2c line towards the Essex coast, and choose the distance that suits you.

Every entry supports Cancer UK, and participants travel free on the c2c railway to and from the race. Entries are still open, and close on 3 September.

Druid's Challenge is not simply 83 miles on a map. It is three days across the Ridgeway, one of Britain's oldest routes.

You follow high chalk ridges through the North Wessex Downs, passing Stone Age barrows, Iron Age forts and the chalk horses carved into the hills.

A landscape people have travelled for thousands of years.

The distance is real, and you will not face it alone. Run it or walk it, take on all three days or a single stage, while we handle the route, checkpoints, luggage, meals and overnight logistics.
