Our Sport and Physical Activity Consultation was well received by all of our young people tonight.

We listened to over 30 young people with SEND, whose voices have helped shape the future of sport and physical activity in our community. Look out for us as we make our way around the county finding out what young people really want.

A huge congratulations to two members of the Wiltshire Inclusive Dance team, who took on the Pretty Muddy challenge in Swindon in support of Cancer Research UK!

They tackled the muddy obstacles with determination, teamwork, and plenty of smiles, all while raising awareness and supporting vital cancer research.

We are incredibly proud of two of our young volunteers, who were recognised by the team from the West Wilts Dance Festival for their dedication, commitment, and passion for working with young people with SEND.

🧏🏼‍♂️ MAKATON TRAINING 🧏🏼‍♀️

Last week, Wiltshire Council welcomed us to their space to take part in Makaton training.

The session provided an opportunity to develop our communication skills and learn more about using Makaton to support inclusive and accessible communication.

It was engaging, informative, and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended. 😊

🚲 TOUR DE TROWBRIDGE! 🚲

Last weekend, Wiltshire Council’s Inclusive Activities Team welcomed members of the community to enjoy a fantastic day trying out a range of adapted bikes.

Hosted by the Trowbridge Chamber of Commerce, Tour de Trowbridge featured four fantastic cycling routes of approximately 5, 25, 46 and 79 miles. Starting and finishing at Trowbridge Town Park, participants were guided through the Wiltshire countryside before returning to the park to receive their medals. 🏅
