Don't forget Flower Club next Tuesday 22nd September at Carnon Down Community Hall (7:30) Guest Welcome, when Julia Harrison will be demonstrating ‘Backwards and Forwards’. The club competition is using the same title so thinking caps on and lets see some creative designs.
To get you in the mood, here is a recap of our July Garden visit.

We enjoyed a delightful afternoon at Bucks Head Garden.
​It was a fantastic afternoon spent exploring Bucks Head Garden, Constantine, Cornwall. Surrounded by beautiful foliage, inspired planting, classic Cornish granite stonework, and great company, the visit was a perfect garden outing for our club.

Appologies for the delay in posting! I've been very busy hosting visitors, doing venue flowers for a 90th birthday, and....phew!.....the heat!
I thought every one would like to see some photos of our amazing meeting to celebrate National Flower arranging day.
We were treated to a fabulous demonstration by Angela Hyland entitled "Trail Blazing Women"
and we had a competition of the same Title, which was won by for her ingenious entry Amelia Earhart (photo below)

We had a fantastic evening for our Kenwyn Valley Flower and Garden Club Spring show. All classes were filled to capacity and Maggi Murray did a brilliant job of judging and followed up with a constructive critique of every arrangement. It was a lovely sociable evening enjoyed by all.

Hi Members.

Please can you get your entries into Glennis as soon as possible. We are hoping to make our show a success. Remember it is a fun event, and your chance to experience competitive exhibiting, in a friendly and supportive environment.
Guests are welcome to attend to view the show and enjoy a friendly and sociable evening. 😀

Members get your entries into Glennis Beard ( [email protected] ) by the 21st April.
Please enter as many classes as you can.
Why not come along as a guest to get a feel of what the Club is about. It will be a lovely Sociable evening with Drinks and nibbles to enjoy during Judging. An opportunity to meet the members in a social setting.
