Train hard, recover hard with Mini Energy Flapjacks, designed to support sports performance using real food ingredients that provide long lasting energy.

Unlike typical energy bars that rely on artificial sugars for a quick boost this flapjack uses a mix of fast and slow-release carbohydrates to deliver steady, sustained energy.

Chia Charge mini energy flapjacks come in four great flavours, plain original, banana, cranberry and salted caramel. They are great for pre-during and post workout.

I discovered at the London Marathon expo when they were launching back in 2012 when I was preparing for my first marathon and I have regularly used chia bars pre-and post run since.

What I learned is that Chia seeds have long been recognised as energy powerhouses, used throughout history to support endurance.

Chia Charge bars offer carbs from oats plus nearly 5g of protein per bar from the chia seeds, helping to keep you going.

Not only this.. chia seeds offer a great source of natural, healthy omega fats to boost and support recovery.

You can now order online for delivery from if you are curious to give them a try!
They taste great and offer a natural fuelling option free of artificial flavours, preservatives or colouring.

Supercharge your next training block with Chia Charge!

I'm a PT, mum of 3 including twins, I'm 46, okay so I have always naturally been this ectomorph type of build but I still work hard to maintain it, through a balanced diet and exercise - and the main thing is I have fun with that. ❀️ I enjoy the journey, taking new challenges each step at a time, and I thrive on keeping things varied. I'm relaunching my garden fitness programme this summer targeting people wanting to get more active whatever stage you're at (complete beginners / returning to exercise / wanting to step it up with fresh motivation and structure). I teach a circuits style fitness class with a range of equipment and exercises. If you are interested, let me know what time would work - I'm thinking 9 / 9.30 after the school run - I'm based on Bidborough Ridge Tunbridge Wells. I could do Mon and/or Wed mornings depending on interest levels. Drop me a DM or comment below if you're reading this and might want to give it a go.

This week, the first half of the session focuses on lower body strength and cardio, leading into the second half covering corework and upper body exercises. No equipment is needed, though you may like to use a mat for comfort and an optional resistance weight (medicine ball / dumbbell / kettlebell).
