If you've built confidence at an indoor climbing wall and would like to start climbing on Southern Sandstone, our Rope Setting Course is the perfect next step.
Southern Sandstone is a unique and fragile climbing environment, so it's essential to learn the correct techniques and follow the BMC Sandstone Code of Practice to help protect these special crags for future generations.
During this 3-hour practical course, you'll learn:
How to set up top ropes safely and correctly.
Essential anchor systems and rope management.
The local ethics and best practices for climbing on Southern Sandstone.

The skills and confidence to climb independently and responsibly.
