The excitement is VERY real now… 🤩

Yesterday we headed to our final theatre walk round to make sure everything is set, planned and ready for another incredible Showtime at Inspire Dance Academy ✨

We had some of our dancers in tow to help show you around the theatre, and we’ll also be sharing a video with you with lots of helpful instructions and information. This is such a great way for our dancers to familiarise themselves with the theatre before show day, especially if this is your very first IDA show! 💕

We hope it helps everyone feel excited, prepared and ready for the magic ahead ✨✨✨

Now… bring on theatre rehearsals on the 7th June!! 🙌🎬

Everyone has gone home with better skills than they arrived with!! 👏

What a fantastic first ever Watching Day at Inspire Dance Academy! 🤩

Today was about so much more than just performing routines. It was about commitment, teamwork, and showing up for each other 💛
During half term, in the middle of a heatwave ☀️🥵, every single dancer turned up ready to work hard, support one another, and give their all, we couldn’t be prouder 🫶

It was so lovely to watch our younger dancers looking up to the older students with such admiration, and equally lovely to see the older children cheering on and encouraging the younger ones too. The support, applause, and team spirit throughout the day is exactly what Team IDA is all about ✨

A huge well done and thank you to all of our wonderful IDA chaperones for sweating along with us, supporting us, keeping everyone hydrated and as cool ad could be!
And of course huge thanks to our wonderful teaching faculty, Beth, Carl & Jack for all your energy and organisation ♥️

Our very first Watching Day was such a success and is definitely an event for the diary moving forwards! 👏

We are so proud of every single dancer for showing up, committing to the process, and giving everything to make our show the best it can be. That dedication does not go unnoticed - we were so so impressed with you all today♥️

THIS is what competition team life really looks like…

It’s early mornings, long days, and late nights 😴

What you see in these photo’s is so much more than costumes, medals, makeup, and stage lights. What you’re really looking at is commitment. Sacrifice. Teamwork. Growth.

You’re looking at teachers who give up weekends, family time, and countless hours planning, choreographing, travelling, encouraging, and believing in every single dancer.

You’re looking at parents who pack the bags, do the hair, make the journeys, sit in theatres for hours, rearrange family plans, and show up, every single time.

You’re looking at dancers who are learning lessons that go far beyond the stage ✨

They’re learning how to handle pressure. How to stay focused when nerves kick in. How to support others whilst still believing in themselves. How to take disappointment, pick themselves back up, and keep going. How to stay in their own lane, trust their training, and give their best.
This is why competition team life is about so much more than trophies.

It’s about confidence. It’s about resilience. It’s about friendships that feel like family. It’s about becoming not just stronger dancers… but stronger people ✨

And that, to us, is what truly makes so special ♥️
