What a difference a month makes! πͺπ»
When I went holiday shopping looking for 'tummy control' swimsuits, that's when I knew I had to do something, and do something I did.
I'm all or nothing, always have been, always will be. I push myself to the limit at the gym and a few comments of "you're getting too muscular" stopped me in my tracks, made me completely stop training, and just fall into a spiral of making all the wrong choices.
After 3 months of encouraging people to be the best version of themselves, behind the scenes I was becoming the worst version of myself, and a month ago I decided enough was enough.
As a personal trainer, I should be practicing what I preach, but it's important to keep things real too, and show how easy it is to spiral down the wrong path.
A month ago, I took control, I took responsibility over my actions, and I made the change. Nothing drastic, just training 3x per week, cutting out the crap, and being in a calorie deficit each day. One month in I'm back to feeling at my best, fitter, stronger, and with a resting heart rate that has reduced from 62 to 52.
If you're not happy with how you look or feel, I can help you turn things around. Taking that first step really is the hardest, but you won't look back!
It's amazing what can be achieved in a relatively short space of time, so don't be one of those that waits until the New Year, do something now. Sometimes it's a reality check you need to give yourself a good kick up the arse, it worked for me, and it can work for you too!
Drop me a message to see how I can help you, I'd love to be part of your journey to becoming a fitter, healthier, and happier you.
