🌟 Tuesday’s Team Spotlight: Our Bar Stars 🌟
This week, we’re putting the spotlight on our Club Manager, Mark!
Mark has been managing The Uckfield Club for ten years now, and is a familiar and welcoming face to all of our members. Whether you see Mark in the Club during the week, at one of our fortnightly meat raffles, or on a Saturday evening band night, you can always be sure he’ll have a smile on his face, ready to welcome our members through the door!
We took the opportunity to ask Mark a few questions to help you all get to know him more:
Length of service: 10 years.
Your local title: Boss.
Hobbies: DJing and Golfing.
Favourite food: Chinese.
Favourite drink: JD & coke.
The best and worst drink to pour: Caffrey’s (best) and B-52 (worst).
If you weren’t in this job, which other career would you like to try?: Being a chef.
Hidden talent: I was once a professional DJ that worked in Barbados 🇧🇧 and the Caribbean Islands.
Early bird or night owl: Night owl 🦉.
Your go-to karaoke song: Elvis Presley - ’Can’t Help Falling in Love’.
The best part of being behind the bar is: Socialising with our members.
A fun fact about you that the regulars don’t know: I have met a lot of famous people, including: Rihanna (yes, the Umbrella singer!), Carl Cox, Paul Weller, Chris Eubank and Richard Branson.
The quirkiest drink I’ve been asked to pour: Pineapple juice mixed with a can of coke.
If you could host a lock-in with any three famous people (alive or dead), who would you pick?: Elvis Presley, Barack Obama, Frank Sinatra.
