Looking forward to this next week!

The Cumbria School Games 2026 is nearly here and this time next week over 1,000 children and young people from across the county are set to take part 🤩

Postponed in June due to hot weather, the event will take place on Thursday 17 September with a full day of fun, inclusive activity across Sheepmount Stadium, Bitts Park and The Sands Centre.

From dance, golf and dodgeball to obstacle courses and archery, the event is all about getting active, trying something new and having fun together.

We will be joined by local sporting heroes and the day will also see 100+ Young Leaders helping bring the festival to life.

The School Games isn’t about winning – it’s about confidence, teamwork and enjoying movement - we can't wait to get things started!
