Row the Distance is the first ever indoor rowing focused virtual medal provider. There are a variety of challenges to suit all abilities from 1000m sprints to marathon rows, and some fantastic medals to be earned. This new range of challenges has been created to provide an inclusive and interesting way to keep fit and healthy using the indoor rowing machine. British Rowing launched Go Row Indoor in 2017. The programme aims to get everyone indoor rowing whether it be for fun, fitness or competition. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an indoor rowing pro, Go Row Indoor has something for you. This November, take part in the Remembrance Sunday Run 2025 — a meaningful virtual event created to honour those who served and sacrificed.

Whether you row indoors on a machine or out on the open water, this three-month challenge is the perfect way to stay motivated as the days shorten and the evenings grow darker.

Your virtual route charts an unforgettable journey: starting at the iconic Portland Bill Lighthouse, travelling through the Solent, skimming past the north of the Isle of Wight, sweeping beyond Selsey Bill, and finishing along the beautiful Sussex coastline.
