Next stop Silverstone 🇬🇧🏁
This sunday we are off to the home of UK motorsport to take part in demos with DriftMatsuri for one of the biggest car shows in the country Trax ❤️
Been 7 years since we have driven the Silverstone track and for those that can remember that would have been in the e36 😮
Even then with the nitrous we were able to clock 110mph entry speeds so God only knows what speeds the 313 s13 will be able to achieve now that we are rocking the best park of 800bhp 😎

Peregrine Performance V1 of Aux Belt Securing Fix 💚
Whenever we grip the car up recently we have had a problem with throwing the aux belt and loosing power steering mid run. Not only does it make the car near impossible to drive but we loose coolant flow and need to get back to the pits asap 🤣
This fix introduces an additional lipped pulley to increase contact patch on the power steering pulley and acts as a guide to keep the belt on 👌
There is a BOSCH motorsport fix for the 2JZ, that uses a bigger power steering pump and pulley along with the additional pulley, however the kit is over £1000 🤦‍♂️
So we have decided to give it a go ourselves to create a fix for this very common issue. We will refine it then it can become a kit that can be purchased from Peregrine 🤘
Avoids having to be forced into going electric power steering, which I am not a fan of (driver preference obviously) 🤣

700 hp and 581 lbft to the wheels 👌
With 10% drivetrain loss that’s around 770 bhp and 640 lbft at the engine all at 1.8 bar of boost 🤘
The lower lines are our V-Power Petrol tune and higher lines are the E85 tune. Thanks to the flex fuel setup we can run petrol for some cheap skids over the winter 👍
Dyna Tune also setup the Antilag system, along with adding an EGT sensor so we can now safely monitor exhaust temperatures to keep running ALS somewhat safe 👌

Aux Belt came off at Clip 4 on second qualifying run 😢
Applied all my corrections for the 2nd run and felt like I nailed clip 1, 2 and 3.
Came onto clip 4 really well then as soon as I clutch kicked we threw the belt and lost power steering 🤦‍♂️
Tried to finish the run off but entering into clip 6 I could physically not steer the car and had to shut down 😳
Then on way to pits got really hot as new coolant flow.
Rather gutted but overall thankful that the car was even in a condition to make todays track day after the madness yesterday 🙏
