🔵🔴 PARENTS’ PLAYER OF THE MATCH – RUTH 🔵🔴

Sponsored by Stefan Rapacz photography ©️

This week’s Parents’ Player of the Match goes to Ruth! ❤️💙

Ruth put in a determined performance, trying to be everywhere on the pitch, constantly looking to create opportunities and using her voice to encourage and drive the team forward.

She suffered a nasty foul but got straight back up and carried on, only to collapse when the final whistle blew. The determination she showed to keep going, despite being in pain, and to make sure the team didn’t go down to nine players was incredible.

Whether pushing forward, creating chances or dropping back to defend, Ruth gave everything she had for her teammates.

That fighting spirit, selflessness and determination make this a thoroughly deserved award. 👏⚽

Well done, Ruth! We are so proud of you. 💙❤️

🔵🔴 PLAYER OF THE MATCH – ISABELLE 🔵🔴

After receiving some devastating news and arriving at the game understandably upset, Isabelle showed incredible strength of character to put that aside and give everything for her teammates.

She was one of the brightest and hardest-working players on the pitch, putting in a solid performance and leaving absolutely everything out there for the team. 💪⚽

Isabelle is the sort of player every manager wants in their squad — someone we can rely on week in, week out to give her best, work hard and never let her teammates down.

This week, that commitment and determination shone through more than ever.

Well done, Isabelle. We are so proud of you! ❤️💙

🔴🔵 DEFEAT ON THE ROAD TODAY

A lacklustre performance today, and at times it felt like watching a completely different team.

Injuries, illness and a growing injury list are finally taking their toll on the squad. Travelling with just 11 players, then having to play parts of the game with 10 after another injury, before picking up yet another injury following a flying two-footed tackle, made an already difficult afternoon even harder.

There’s no hiding from the fact that today wasn’t good enough, and we know these girls are capable of so much more. But football isn’t always plain sailing, and sometimes you have to dig deep, learn from the tough days and come back stronger.

We rest, we regroup, we recover and we go again. 💪

One result doesn't define us, and this squad has shown plenty of times what they’re capable of. We’ll stick together, get the girls back fit and be ready for the next challenge.
