MIDLAND AT GALA DAY

A strong Midland representation at Indoor Gala Day yesterday on the Men’s side as the final contested of Grove Menzieshill Hockey Club, Dundee and Inverleith.

A very good game ended in a draw and after the 2nd round of high quality penalties Grove Menzieshill emerged victorious and became National Indoor Champions again, albeit a few years after their last win 🏆 congratulations to them.

The umpires in the final also saw strong Midland representation as Gavin Cruickshanks of Grove Menzieshill and Duncan Ruzzak of Monarchs Hockey Club officiated the final to a high standard. Kristie Burnett formerly of Grove Menzieshill was appointed to the Ladies final also 🟢🟡🔴

Delighted to have the National Finals hosted in Dundee which is the centre of Midland Hockey. The Boys & Girls U18s finals are being hosted at DISC today also all day.
