Crazy but fun couple of days on the golf course! Yesterday was the final event after 6 incredible years raising over £50k for Campaign Against Living Miserably men’s mental health charity. Managed my third ever Hole in 1 during a fun scramble event Farleigh Golf Club . 1️⃣⛳️
•
Today I had a great day over Effingham Golf Club in their Pro-am, managing to get round in 70 (-1) for a t5th finish and in the professional prizes out in what looks like the last of the sunny weather. 🏌️‍♂️ 📈 ☀️
•
I’ve got a few events coming up over the winter so hopefully can keep up the form and the weather isn’t too brutal 🥶☔️

A breezy but dry round over Purley Downs Golf Club for the Surrey PGA Masters tournament today 💨 ⛅️
•
Being my first round of golf for a month there were a few dodgy shots in there but overall a level par back 9 to finish on a 73 was good enough to finish t5th position and in the £ today 📈🏌️‍♂️
•
Course was in good condition, especially the greens and the recent rain has brought some green colour back to the fairways! ⛳️
•
I have a few events lined up in October so hopefully I can get some golf in between now and then to finish even higher up the leaderboard. ⬆️

Two enjoyable games of golf over the past few days. A 71 (1 under) for second place the event over at Nizels Golf Club and today a 73 (+1) in Open Qualifying at the stunning Bearwood Lakes Golf Club in the heat! 🔥 ☀️
•
Played my best golf of the year with steady long game, a much improved short game and 30 and 29 putts respectively with zero three putts 📈
•
Missed out on the next stage of Open Qualifying by a few shots but was very pleased with how I played, getting tough now with only 8 spots and over 130 competitors! ⛳️ 🏌️‍♂️
•
A busy time with coaching ahead but will try and keep the game going in the right direction over the summer months. 🌞

Played in the pouring rain and a strong wind yesterday in the Surrey PGA Championships Woodcote Park Golf Club yesterday. ☔️ 💨
•
It was a tough scoring day but managed to come in tied 5th place with a 77 with my first tournament round for about a month. Managed to birdie all the par 3’s somehow. Without a few dropped shots towards the end of the round it could have been a higher finish. 📈
•
Photos of the course from the practice round which was a better weather day!! ⛅️
•
Open Qualifying Bearwood Lakes Golf Club up next on June 22nd, lets hope the weather is better then 🙏🏼 ☀️

Was great to play golf in short sleeves for this first time in probably 6 or 7 months yesterday in the Guildford Alliance championships. ☀️ 😎
•
A fairly solid round of 72 with plenty of pars and not quite enough birdies but a top third of the leaderboard finish none the less. 📈🏌️
•
In my 6 events on the Alliance this year I’ve shot between 69 and 72 so pretty consistent golf, just got to sharpen up the short game and putting consistently to kick on to better scores. 📊
•
Off to Euro Disney with the family tomorrow and a few weeks before my next event in the PGA qualifier at Moor Park GC, lets hope the weather stays nice! 🙏🏼🌞

Breezy day over today in the Guildford Alliance. With wind pretty constant at over 45mph and the occasional rain shower made for tough scoring conditions 💨 💨 🌧️
•
Managed to get it round in 72 for top 5 pro individual and T2nd place in the team event, but for a slightly poor finish to the round the score could have been even better! 📈 🥈
•
Course held up pretty well despite the conditions, greens were good, would love to play there again in the summer months with slightly better weather! 🌺 ☀️

First round of golf of the year yesterday on one of the only dry days so far in the Guildford Alliance⛅️
•
After painfully dislocating my shoulder (posterior dislocation) playing football early in January and needing to be put to sleep for it to be put back in I feared my golf in 2026 could be in jeopardy but fortunately the recovery has been much quicker than expected and I was back able a bit balls within a few weeks. 🤕🩻
•
I ended up shooting a 71 having started on hole 12. After a few loose approach shots early in the round I played some good golf hitting the last 13 greens I played in regulation (15 greens in total). A few temporary greens made it tricky with the putting but was overall very pleased on how I played and in particular how the shoulder felt. 💪⛳️
•
Football boots have been hung up and look forward to concentrating on my golf this season, fingers crossed the weather starts to dry up as I have a few events coming up over the next month or so. ☀️ 🏌️‍♂️

Got lucky with the weather for my final 2 events of the year last week, weather was dry on both days ⛅️ 💨
•
Finished the year with two good rounds, a 71 in the Guildford Alliance for another decent finish, also winning a nearest the pin for a bottle of ch*****ne. In the final event of the year I also shot a 71 on a windy day collecting some prizes along the way. It was my first round there for over 15 years! 🍾🏌️‍♂️
•
Since getting my new putter back in September I’ve had 10 rounds with a scoring average of 70.7, probably the best I’ve played over that long a stretch, shows what decent putting and a much improved short game can do! 📈
•
A bit of a break from playing tournaments now with one more busy week of coaching ahead before a few weeks off at Christmas with the family. Hopefully I can continue the good form at the end of the 2025 season into the New Year. 🎄🎅

Definitely getting there with this golf lark! Round of 69 this morning for a top 5 at the fantastic Swinley Forest Golf Club in the Guildford Alliance 🏌️‍♂️ ⛳️
•
A great day off the tee and some solid irons and short game, albeit leaving a few putts on the edges keeps my decent end to the year going 📈
•
Two more events next month at Liphook and North Foreland to finish the year, hoping for a strong finish to 2025 💪

Another enjoyable round of golf in the Guildford Alliance today in the breezy sunshine ☀️ 💨
•
The run of good golf continued with a round of 72. 3 birdies in a row across some of my favourite holes in golf on my favourite golf course.🏌️‍♂️
•
New putter still working well with 29 putts and extending the run of no three putts to 5 rounds! Long may it continue! 🎯 📈
