So then… You may remember that we said that the walkway on the jetty would be replaced as the existing wood one was failing and had become dangerous.

Well, I am pleased to let you know that the gruesome twosome aka Mike and Paul have been hard at it to make sure that the entry way is of sufficient standard and they have succeeded.

Well done Mike and Paul. Top effort. Thanks very much 💪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Nearly there! After the installation of the new sub aquatic access and egress system (aka stairs😂) it was on to the maintenance, repair, and/or replacement of the existing steps.

Some more work to do shortly, but all coming along nicely. Big thanks to Mike Bailey and Paul Turkentine for their efforts. Mention to Tim Kenney too for his biosecurity efforts.

Today's Santa Dive was a great day. Thanks everyone. Brilliant effort from Mike and Tim.

The Club also donated 110 selection boxes to Ysbyty Gwynedd that really did make everyone so happy.

They were given to numerous wards, staff, and the ambulance crews that were there.

The weather held out nicely this weekend and saw a good few divers at Dorothea Quarry, including a nice group of members that had travelled from Belgium.

Really nice atmosphere and nice to catch up with people that hadn't seen each other for a while. Nice mix of CCR and OC divers making the most of the end of Autumn.

Was nice to team up with Jeff for Justin's MOD 2 deeper dives this weekend too. Justin has been a trainee/guest but will now be joining as a member. Congrats on passing your MOD 2! Did the deeper section of the forest, entire forest and old miner wall etc on deco before a midwater navigation back North.

Thanks to Paul Turkentine and David Liam Kenny for doing Gate duties.

Members please do PM us any pictures and write ups each week that can be shared in the group if you want.

Dates for the diary!

Its the AGM on 27th November, online this year on Teams and email will be sent to current members.

It's the annual Santa Dive and Chuckle Brothers Chilli on 21st December. There may be an underwater treasure hunt on that day with decent prizes. Register on Spond as usual.
