Massive congratulations to Luqman on his unanimous decision win today 🥊

This lad only had his first two skills bouts recently and was supposed to have another one this weekend. But when we were told no more skills bouts were allowed, we stepped up and took a proper bout instead… and he went in there and won every single round 💥

What’s been even better to watch is the transformation in his confidence over the last couple of months. He’s gone from a 2 to a 9 or 10, and that’s what boxing is really all about.

It’s not just about winning fights. It’s about bringing the best out of people. It’s about realising you’re not made of glass. It’s about pushing yourself into uncomfortable situations and proving to yourself that you can do things most people never will.

A lot of people can sit on the sofa and say what they’d do… but stepping into a boxing ring and competing is different. It shows you what you’re really made of. That feeling separates you from the rest.

Proud of you, Luqman. This is only the beginning. Onwards and upwards 📈

Over the weekend, DNA was everywhere!
Friday night we had boxers out in Tyseley, then we hit the road to Hull — a long motorway run, but worth every mile.
Saturday night, back in Hull again for more action.
Sunday, our fighters were down in Tipton,
and on Monday, we were up in Liverpool doing it all over again!

Basically… DNA had a seriously active weekend — and it’s not just about being busy, it’s about being willing.
Willing to travel.
Willing to fight.
Willing to test yourself.

If you’ve been in a boxing gym for over a year and only had five fights, maybe it’s time to ask the question: what’s really going on? 👀
Every club runs differently — but at DNA, we believe the only way to gain real experience is by fighting.
We would never put you into a bout if we didn’t think you were ready — that’s the most important part. 🧠💯

Personally, I even prefer away shows.
Home shows can feel a bit political… some officials (especially around Birmingham) seem to have their favourites.
When you’re away, you’re the underdog — and that’s where we thrive. ♟️

📞 Two Days’ Notice. No Problem.

Got the call yesterday—fight in Nottingham, two days’ notice. Ghost took the fight today and got the split decision win.

A year out with a broken hand? Didn’t make a difference. Hard work and dedication always show up when it matters.
