It is very humbling to read about yourself, but very pleased to hear that yoga is working!
Why Yoga? When I first joined the gym about 18 months ago, I started yoga. After having two children, I’d had problems with my pelvis and back. My posture wasn’t great and I was still so tired. A…
Because life is not made only of photos! I also liked the idea. And I'm going to get into the game. The proposal is "shake" Facebook. Let's see if it works. The game is to make a small test to see who reads the messages when there is no picture. Therefore, if you are reading this message, make a comment using a single word about how we met. Just one word. Please. Next, copy this message on your wall so I can also leave a word. Just hold your finger on text. Touch the word copy. Go to your pg & hold your finger where you write. Then on "paste" when it shows up. That's it!
2016 Yoga Summer Workshops with Eleonora
Saturday May 14th 09.00-12.00
Saturday June 25th 09.00-12.00
Saturday July 30th 09.00-12.00
The workshops are suitable for all levels of ability. If you are new to the practice, you will get a better understanding of the importance of breath control to help you moving in and out of postures smoothly, and to achieve greater awareness of the stability in your feet, legs and arms.
If you have a regular practice, you will get hands-on individual adjustment and help you to see and try and break free from old patterns you may have got used to through the years.
The venue is Stoke Damerel Parish Hall, Paradise Road, Stoke. Free parking is available.
Each workshop will start with a silent half hour meditation from 08.30-09.00, which is optional. The meditation will be completely free of charge. Please bring a blanket for your comfort.
Every workshop will include a full hour of Pranayama (breath control), physical practice - asana and final relaxation. I shall introduce you gently to breathing techniques, some of them you may be familiar with, some will be new. I shall explain the benefits of pranayama.
Variations will be suggested for different levels of ability and no matter how little you do, your whole body will feel envigorated and re-charged, and your mind calmer.
Please bring a blanket or a large towel for the final relaxation.
The cost of each workshop is £25.00 with advanced booking only.
I prefer payment by cash and thank you all for your understanding, and apologies, if this causes you any inconvenience.
The full amount for a workshop is due 1 week before each workshop. Any last minute requests to reserve a place will be secured with full payment only.
