Tonight’s training session looks a little different… 😂
🔥 Warm up: shouting “COME ON ENGLAND!” before kick-off
💪 Main set: 90 minutes of clenching every muscle you didn’t know you had!
🏃 Cardio: pacing around the room when it gets tense
🧘 Cool down: pretending you were calm the whole time 🤣
No calories burned watching… but the stress levels might count as a workout! ⚽🔥

Folks tonight’s class is STILL ON✅ - I know it is hot but last time I cancelled, the temperature was in the thirties range so it is showing cooler later on for when the class begins.
Keep hydrated throughout today, bring a towel and plenty of water and you can refill in the kitchen during the class too.
I will adjust the workout accordingly so please don’t worry.
I will bring my fan and open the doors - if there’s a breeze outside then working outside is an option too.

✨♥️Folks, I felt it was important to create this because I want people to understand that cardiovascular exercise is just as important as resistance training.
There is a lot of information in the media highlighting the benefits of resistance training and rightly so - it is incredibly important for building strength, supporting bone health, improving muscle mass and maintaining overall health as we age.
However, cardio should not be overlooked.
♥️Why Cardio Is Important♥️
Cardio helps to:
● Raise your heart rate
● Strengthen your heart and lungs
● Improve stamina and endurance
● Boost your mood
● Reduce stress
● Support weight management
● Make everyday activities feel easier
Unfortunately, cardio often gets a bad reputation because people associate it with high-impact exercise, endless jumping or intense aerobic workouts.
The reality is that cardio can be low impact, accessible and suitable for a wide range of abilities while still providing significant health benefits.
In every class I teach, I always demonstrate low-impact alternatives, ensuring everyone can participate at a level that feels right for them.
Both Body Blitz and grafft™ combine cardiovascular exercise and resistance training to create balanced, effective workouts.
There is always a lower-impact option available, allowing you to work safely and confidently while still challenging yourself.
Please NEVER feel that either of my classes is not for you. They are designed to be inclusive of all ages, abilities and fitness levels, including those with medical conditions or contraindications to exercise.
As a Personal Trainer since 2011 and a GP Exercise Referral qualified instructor since 2015, I have the knowledge and experience to help you exercise safely and effectively, whatever your starting point.

🐾 Happy Gotcha Day, Teddy 🐾
Five years ago today, on 26th June 2021, Teddy came to his forever home and changed our lives in ways we never could have imagined.
As a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor I spend a lot of time talking about the importance of consistency, routine and showing up every day.
Teddy has been the perfect reminder of those things. Through daily walks, quiet moments and life’s ups and downs, he’s been a constant source of motivation to keep moving forward.
The past couple of years and especially the challenges we’ve faced since September 2024, haven’t been easy.
During some of the darkest days, Teddy has been there without fail - offering comfort, companionship and unconditional love.
He’ll never know just how much he’s helped, but his presence has made even the hardest days feel a little lighter.
Fitness and health aren’t just about workouts and nutrition. They’re about building a life that supports your wellbeing, finding reasons to keep going and appreciating the people and pets who help you through the journey.
Thank you, Teddy, for every walk, every cuddle, every laugh and every moment of comfort. We’re so grateful you came into our lives and made our house a home.
