Christmas drinks tonight in the The Goats Head, Abbots Bromley if you're interesting in running with us next year then this should be a good chance to meet fellow runners!

No club run tonight, take the night off and recharge for Wednesday. Partly due to our president on foreign exchange in the outback and I'm taking after Lance, swapping blood samples with the NHS.

Club training run tonight, 6PM leaving the Village Hall just after 6PM, the evenings are getting lighter now, We are in Spring according to the Met Office, Summer is next, come and get fit and in shape for it with Abbots Bromley Running Club!

You probably shouldn't skip training today.

Some club PBs set yesterday at the Alsager 5 Mile Road race. The first race that ABRC has been to! Few things learnt, We will be needing a strip next, any ideas, colour schemes etc, although opposing teams colours have to be taken into account as not to clash, you know pink and reds just don't go!

Anyway, tonight 6PM at the Village Hall for a quick jog around the village road in good company!

Tomorrow there is a road race in Alsager, East Cheshire Just under an hour from A.B.

If your interested send a message, there should be a few of us heading up there, a massive advantage of being part of a club is car sharing, and obviously the motivation to get out of bed on a Sunday!!

The 2013 Brooks Alsager 5 once again looks to have a high quality fields as it hosts an Inter Area competition between the Midlands, the North, Wales and Combined Services for both male and female.
With good weather forecast athletes of all abilities will be looking for an early season PB.
The race starts at 11-00am from close to Alsager Leisure Centre.

Entries will be taken on the day until 10-30am
