🏁🔥 SEPTEMBER PRO70 CHAMPIONSHIP – RACE REPORT 🔥🏁

😬 We’re beginning to smell the fear at the top of the rankings! 👀😂

The year-long Pro70 Championship is heading towards crunch time, and with just 3 rounds remaining, things are getting seriously tight at the top! 🏆📊

After another cracking race from the usual suspects in September, the championship battle is closer than ever… and there might be a few squeaky bums appearing in the paddock! 😂😬

🏎️💨 OLD SKOOL GP

September saw the return of the Old Skool GP format, but with a little twist! 🔀

Instead of the usual A & B Finals, this time we finished with ONE BIG FINAL featuring the entire grid! 🏁🔥

And the pace was ridiculously close! 🤯⏱️

🔥 8 drivers running in the 53s
⚡ Every remaining driver in the 54s

That’s one seriously competitive Pro70 grid! 👏💪

Following the success of our first-ever Weighted Races at St Eval, we're introducing something new...

🔥 The First Ever "Heavies" Race Event! 🔥

📅 Sunday 13th September 2026
🏁 Grand Prix Format
🕓 Race starts: 4:00pm
⏰ Arrival: 3:15pm

Event Rules

⚖️ Minimum driver weight: 77kg
🦺 Drivers will be weighted up to 80kg where required.
🚫 No leaded seats for this event.
✅ Lead packs will be used instead.

Think you've got what it takes? This is your chance to race against drivers with a similar weight and enjoy some seriously close racing! 🏎️💨

🎟️ Places are limited, so book early to avoid missing out.

🏁🌞 July Rookie Race Results! 🌞🏁

What a fantastic afternoon of racing! 😎🏎️

The sunshine was back, but thankfully it was a little cooler than eariler this week! ☀️😅

With the race running in Grand Prix format, everyone got a well-earned hydration break every 10 minutes... and I think there were a few grateful faces because of it! 💦😂

One thing that's becoming the trademark of our Rookie events is the fantastic respect shown on track. 👏

Loads of close racing, plenty of overtaking, but everyone giving each other room and racing the right way. It's brilliant to watch! 🤝🏁

That said... we think there might have been a little bit of Pro70 spirit creeping into the grid this month... 👀🔥

The fastest lap dropped into the low 41-second bracket 🤯

Considering that's as quick as anyone has managed this week—even the Pro70 Championship drivers—in the summer heat, that's an incredible achievement! 💪🔥

🏁🔥 July Pro70 Championship Results 🔥🏁

What. A. Race. 😅☀️

The race was long, the heat was brutal, and the driving... absolutely sublime! 👏🏎️💨

This month's championship used our F1 Extreme format – one full hour of uninterrupted racing! ⏱️

Just a couple of months ago we were racing through biblical rain 🌧️... now we've gone completely the other way with a proper summer heatwave! ☀️🥵

🌡️ 30°C air temperature
🔥 Blistering track temperatures
💦 Sweat levels... off the scale!

The drivers arrived looking fresh, relaxed and ready to race... but by the chequered flag they were absolutely finished! 😅

Hydration breaks were mentioned... but everyone manned (and womaned!) up and battled on to the end! 💪🤣

Although... I don't think anyone would have complained if we'd turned the bridge into a giant hosepipe shower halfway through! 🚿😂

As always with the longer race formats, the field gradually spread into fantastic little battles all around the circuit, with close racing from front to back. 👌🏁

🌟 Battle of the Day

The standout duel simply has to go to Tris & Chris. 👏

They traded places countless times through the first half of the race, neither driver willing to give an inch. Eventually Chris managed to edge away, but only after one of the best wheel-to-wheel battles we've seen this season.

When asked after the race, Tris hinted there may have been a little championship strategy involved... 🤔

With only a handful of rounds remaining, every point is becoming increasingly important... 👀🏆

THE SUN CAME BACK! 😎☀️

After what feels like months of racing through every weather condition imaginable 🌧🌪️🤣, we finally got a wall-to-wall sunshine Pro70 race! ☀️🏎️💨

And what a race it was! 🔥

This month there was NO dominant driver in the heats 👀

⚡ Fastest lap points were shared around
⚡ Multiple drivers topped their heats
⚡ Standings were changing all day long

Meaning nobody could relax for a second 😅🏁
