Restorative Yoga: Going Deeper

Restorative Yoga: Going Deeper is a nourishing 2-hour workshop designed to offer space for profound rest, release and stillness.
Together we’ll explore longer-held restorative postures, deeper support, and a selection of new restorative shapes and prop set-ups to gently open the body and settle the nervous system.
Restorative yoga is a deeply supportive practice that uses props such as bolsters, blankets, chairs and blocks to allow the body to fully relax in restful postures, encouraging healing, regulation and ease.
This extended practice invites you to slow down, soften and rest more deeply, with time to settle into each posture and experience the quieter, more meditative aspects of restorative yoga.
Some previous experience of restorative yoga is desirable, though not essential.
Spaces have been reduced for this session to ensure plenty of space for each student and ample access to props.

Reiki, Restorative & Yoga Nidra: An Evening of Healing & Deep Rest

Step into a nurturing space designed to soothe the body, quiet the mind, and invite profound restoration. This workshop blends the healing energies of Reiki, the supportive stillness of restorative yoga, and the deeply restful practice of Yoga Nidra.
Through gentle, fully supported postures, restorative yoga offers the chance to release tension and soften into ease. Reiki, a Japanese energy healing technique, will be offered throughout to encourage harmony and balance. We then move into yoga nidra, a guided meditation often called “yogic sleep”, to take you into a state of deep rest and inner awareness.
This workshop is an opportunity to replenish your energy, nurture your nervous system, and reconnect with a sense of peace and spaciousness. Expect a slow, spacious, and calming environment where you can simply let go and receive.
No previous experience is needed, just bring yourself and an openness to rest.

Cosmic Rest

Cosmic Rest combines the calming practices of restorative yoga and reiki healing.
Reiki is the Japanese word for ‘Universal Life Energy’, which is channelled by the practitioner to create a deep state of peace and relaxation that stimulates our own natural healing mechanisms. Reiki has been found to reduce stress, pain, depression, and anxiety, as well as improve clarity of mind and general wellbeing.
During the session, you will be guided through gentle restorative yoga poses, helping you to relax and release tension from the body and mind. Throughout the yoga practice, you will receive soothing group reiki by our Holistic Reiki Practitioner, Lucy, promoting collective balance and harmony. Towards the end of the session whilst resting in a blissful savasana, those who wish can experience a short period of personalised reiki, allowing for focused, individual healing.
Cosmic Rest is designed to nurture the body, mind, and spirit, leaving you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and deeply at peace.
