We are delighted to announce that Ella has been appointed as our new Club Secretary.

Following the departure of Liam from the role this season, we were without a Club Secretary, and Ella stepped in to help cover player registrations and support the club wherever needed.

Over the past 12 months, Ella has been a fantastic addition to the club. She has worked closely with our Mini Tigers, played a key role in helping form our new U7 age group, and continues to manage the Mini Tigers administration, where she is doing a brilliant job.

We are now delighted to welcome Ella onto the Club Committee as our new Club Secretary. Her commitment, organisation and enthusiasm have already made a huge difference, and we know she will do a fantastic job in her new role.

Congratulations, Ella, and thank you for everything you continue to do for the club!

A Friendly Request to Parents in Stanley & the Local Area

Hi everyone,

Childern climbing into toilets .
please could you have a friendly word with them and ask them to stay away from our new toilet facilities on Ferry Lane.

There is nothing for them to see or do in that area, and we’re concerned that climbing on or around the fencing could damage the fence or the new toilets. More importantly, they could also potentially injure themselves by climbing over or around the area.

As a club, we have worked incredibly hard to provide these facilities for our players, parents and supporters, and we’d really appreciate everyone’s help in looking after them.

Please, please have a chat with the children and ask them to stay out of the area. We’re sure a friendly word will do the trick, and we’d much rather prevent anyone getting hurt or anything being damaged.

Our sessions are delivered by UEFA-qualified coaches with great knowledge and years of coaching experience, helping your child develop the foundations they need to progress towards joining our new U7 team when the time comes. ⚽🐯

Following discussions between the U11 coaching team, we're excited to announce plans to split into two teams for the upcoming season.

With player numbers continuing to grow, this will allow more game time, more development opportunities, and an even better experience for every player

To make this happen, we're looking to recruit 4 more players to complete our second squad.

⚽ Play: Sundays

Our u7 did a England themed session in prep ready for the boys to take on messi & co.

Whats your predictions for game tomorrow?

U18s had their end of season presentation in the glorious sunshine, at our club base The Wheatsheaf, it was a great afternoon matched by the food supplied by Leanne, who did an amazing spread

The lads all received their trophies of participation from Manager Nick Cartwright who gave a little speach on each player

The special award winners were

Player of the year - William Pearman

Parents player of the year - William Pearman

Players Player of the year - Frankie Hendrickson

Golden Boot Winner - Brody Dunning

An award was also presented for outstanding achievement and service to Stanley United Juniors, to U18s Captain Billy Cartwright, who was presented with a club ball signed by his team mates and presented in a glass case

On reflection of his 10 years at the club he said it’s been awesome, we’ve had some good times and bad but I’ve made some friends for life,

Our u12 tigers 2025-26 completed in the Bridlington Beach Gala yesterday.

Managers toffee words:
What a day! I couldn't be prouder of every single player. The effort, commitment, and teamwork from everyone were outstanding from start to finish.
We took 11 players and split them into two squads—one with just one substitute and the other with no subs at all, as Leo is still recovering from his operation and wasn't quite ready to play.
Tigers Orange played brilliantly, staying unbeaten throughout all of their league games and progressing to the knockout stages, where they were narrowly beaten 1–0.
Tigers Black also remained unbeaten in all of their league matches. In the knockout stages, they defeated the team that had beaten Orange, then won their semi-final comfortably 3–0 before just missing out in a hard-fought final, losing 1–0.
Both teams made myself and Jay incredibly proud as coaches and represented the club brilliantly with their attitude, effort, and determination. It was a fantastic day that everyone can look back on with pride.
Now it's time for a well-earned summer break. Enjoy the sunshine, have lots of fun, and come back refreshed and ready for the new season. 🌞
