It is with deepest regret that we have learned of the passing of one of our players, Tasadaq Iqbal, in a tragic accident whilst in Pakistan.
The club and all its members would like to express their deepest condolences to his family and friends.
Tasadaq joined the club during the pandemic, from Crofton Phoenix Cricket Club.
Despite the disruption we have had through this time he was a committed and reliable 1st XI player.
He shone with his bowling, entertained us all with his batting and was a great person to have around.
He will missed by all at the club aswell as the wider cricket community, including some close friends at Notton Cricket Club and his previous clubs.

We are based in Outwood, Wakefield and we are currently looking for junior players in the age groups under 13 under 15 and under 18 to come down and join our junior set up. This season we have teams in under 15's and under 18's league but we are looking to get a good group of kids together with the view to fielding teams in all age groups next season.
We are happy to bring in kids of all abilities, from seasoned cricketers through to kids that have never held a bat before that would like to give it a go. We currently have a great bunch of lads that are all great kids and are very welcoming and would like to see more budding cricketers joining us with a similar mindset and attitude. Please feel free to contact our page if you think your child may be interested and to get Information regarding getting involved and finding out details of training sessions.
Hope to see plenty of new faces soon π
Kind regards. Richard
