Short Spine on the reformer is all about controlled articulation. You press out, lift the hips to roll over, then bend the knees as the carriage comes in, using the straps for support before slowly rolling down one vertebra at a time. Smooth, supported, and great for mobility.
Long Spine keeps the legs straight and active 🔥 You press out, lift into inversion with long legs, open/close at the top, then resist the straps as you roll down with control. More stability, more strength, deeper stretch.

If you’re new to the Reformer, this is a quick tour of the bed and its parts. As instructors, we don’t expect you to remember names — we’re here to guide you every step.

This 90-minute Mind–Body Reformer Workshop is designed to help you feel more connected, confident, and supported in your practice.
What we’ll explore together:
• Breath and rib cage mechanics
• Pelvic alignment (neutral vs imprint)
• Deep core support without gripping
• How springs change feedback and sensation
• Stability vs mobility in key Reformer movements
We’ll move through familiar exercises at a slower pace, pausing to notice what you feel and why it matters. This workshop is just as much about awareness as it is about movement.
