💃We all have our reasons to start training (and to continue)…
So, seeing as though it’s Friday night…
Our Jane started training with us to help with her strength and balance so she can continue to be able to do her favourite (although we must be a close second, surely!) pass time of Zumba with ♥ Sara Walker ♥ (who is also one of our coaches).
She says it has helped her feel more confident in her movements when she’s dancing due to the improvement in her balance and coordination!
On top of that, she is always happy and willing to give her best when she trains with us!
Well done Jane and keep doing what you do 💪💃🏋️

🏋️ Train for the person you want to be in 20 years from now!
Do you want to be able to get off the floor easily?
Do you want to be able to get off the floor easily?
Carry your own luggage?
Walk up hills?
Play with your grandchildren?
Keep travelling?
Feel strong and capable?
If so we need to do something about it now…we all know what we should be doing (or have an idea), but that doesn’t make it any easier!
Today’s world is full of quick dopamine hits from sugary foods and drinks, social media etc. that drain our motivation.
This makes taking those first steps in getting started even harder, but if you’re wanting to start…tell a friend, make yourself accountable to someone or join a group of people who want the same as you!
You definitely won’t regret it!

What do you want from your gym?
Is it 8 week shreds (starvation programs)?
Do you want to cheat your way to your goal even if that means putting your own health at risk?
If so good luck on your journey hopefully you come out of it fit and well and love exercise for ever 💪
We on the other do not push anything on our members, apart from creatine maybe 🤣🤣
We are in it for the long game…..
We want every member to feel valued and important, we educate as much as we can, if we don’t know something we’ll find out, not come out with loads of bu****it. No matter what your age, what your current fitness level is you will be great equal, we can all improve but must start somewhere.
Us coaches train (pretty quietly) in the background as it’s not about us, it’s about our members journey, we’ve had our day and lived every minute, long may it continue👌
We also love learning, no one knows everything and if you tell yourself that you need to book onto a new course asap. The more we learn the less we feel we know 😬
If you want to start something with us drop us a message we have some great coaches waiting to start with you, Jake Brear GoodVibeTribeUK plus a few more who aren’t active on Insta 🤣🤣

⭐️ Happy 80th birthday Margaret 🎂🥳🎉
This is from all of us here at St Johns Health & Fitness and the Coffee Club @ St Johns .
You are genuinely one of the most determined and generous people we have met and an inspiration to us all at St John’s.
Margaret started with us after breaking her hip and was determined to maintain her independence, so she started with 1-1 PT, to help her recovery and build strength.
This lead to us starting a group session which we have once per week (watch out for more sessions in the future), in which she is a massive part of and has grown over the last couple of years.
Hope you have had a great birthday and thank you for being part of what we do! Great seeing you and the rest of the ladies today for your usual training session and the coffee, sandwiches and cakes (supplied by the best Traditional Butchers Wakefield/Leeds )

Do you want to be fitter, stronger and healthier?
Should you be doing more exercise?
If the answer is yes…start looking at how you can build more activity into your daily schedule.
Remember, it doesn’t have to be some crazy training plan that you stand little (or no) chance of sustaining.
At the same time you might not necessarily enjoy it at first (none of us like change).
But it should be something that you can realistically do and feel you can stick to.
All goals should be achievable and realistic, this gives us the motivation to continue, so start small…a morning walk before work, squat or plank while waiting for the kettle to boil…just start!
If you think we can help let us know
