⚽🏆 England World Cup Fixtures – Family Room Update 🏆⚽

Following consideration of the kick off times and the days on which the matches fall, a decision has been made not to show England's Group Stage matches in the Family Room.

As England progress further into the competition (hopefully), we will review each fixture on a match by match basis and communicate any plans to show games in the Family Room as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding!. We're all hoping England give us plenty of reasons to make those decisions later in the tournament! 🤞⚽

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Family World Cup Kick-Off Event on Sunday.

It was fantastic to see so many children getting involved and they all looked to be having a great time colouring flags and designing their World Cup medals. We've had some brilliant artwork submitted and these will be on display in the Family Room in the next couple of days! 🏳️🎨🏅

Thank you also to everyone who supported the event by purchasing food and treats throughout the afternoon.

The 'live' World Cup sweepstake draw also took place on Sunday and all teams have now been allocated. To confirm your team allocation, please see the attached draw sheet.

We'll be displaying all the flags on the wall throughout the tournament and as countries are knocked out, their flags will be removed from our World Cup display.

🌭🍰🍬 From 3pm to 5pm, Baby Bear Bakes will be joining us with hot dogs, cake and custard and a selection of pic 'n' mix treats available to purchase.

🌦️ The weather forecast might not be looking great, but that won't stop our fun! Come along and enjoy an afternoon of World Cup themed activities.

✨ Great News for Wrenthorpe Sports & Social Club! ✨

We are extremely delighted to announce that Amanda Caines will be joining us as our new stewardess from Monday 1st June.

Many of you will already know Amanda well, she previously served as stewardess here for an incredible 23 years, and her experience, steady leadership, and warm personality make her return truly fantastic news for the club. We know our members will be thrilled to see such a familiar and trusted face back behind the bar.

Amanda will also be supported by Mick Caines, who will be working behind the scenes taking care of the cellar.

This marks an exciting new chapter for the club, and we can’t wait for you all to welcome Amanda back into the heart of Wrenthorpe Sports & Social.

Here’s to a bright future ahead! 🍻

Please disregard our post regarding the pizza van Sunday everyone. We have just received word they will not be able fulfill the agreed time and date on this occasion. So they will NOT be attending on Sunday.

We know you were all looking forward to this and we apologise. But unfortunately it is out of our hands. And hope we can re-arrange with them soon, as we know how well regarded they are at Neapolitan Fire.

We will continue to look for options.
