Been down at ben lee lakes for abit and sadly only caught one fish but its ok i will get them next time😄

Just an update on Lake Oliver 🎣

Unfortunately the lake will remain closed for now to give it the time it needs to recover properly. The lake has suffered an oxygen crash and we are currently working closely with the Environment Agency to achieve the best possible outcome.

A lot of work is already underway behind the scenes and we are doing everything we can to get Oliver back to the standard we all want and expect. These things don’t happen overnight unfortunately… fish don’t exactly read calendars or hurry up because Facebook asks nicely 🙃

We are taking this extremely seriously and the welfare of the fish remains our absolute priority. We simply ask for a bit of patience and understanding while the recovery process continues.

8 hours of practice on oliver lake yesterday with a total of 240 fish thanks to dad for the bit of help and phils silver rigs 😊
