Earlier this year, we were absolutely overwhelmed to be awarded Dance School of the Year 2026/27 by Prestige Awards.

We honestly thought that was a moment, winning Dance School of the Year for a third yearโ€ฆ and then, after returning from our summer break, we received the news that we had been awarded not one, not two, but SIX MORE AWARDS ๐Ÿ˜ญโค๏ธ

And honestly, I don't think words can quite explain what this means to me.

Myself, my husband, my family and our incredible team pour so much of ourselves into this school. Every class, every opportunity, every performance, every child, every dancer, every family matters to us.

We have always believed elite dance training and opportunities should be affordable and accessible to all, regardless of background, ability or circumstance.

To me, Freedom will always be my little dance school.

Butโ€ฆ we really aren't so little anymore! ๐Ÿฅน

We are doing BIG things.

We are changing the Wirral dance scene.
We are creating opportunities.
We are breaking down barriers.
We are making dance accessible to more people.
And we are building something that I am unbelievably proud to call ours.

Seven awards isn't just about winning.

For me, they represent the countless hours, the early mornings, the late nights, the rehearsals, the admin, the tears, the laughter, the determination, the risks, the belief and most importantly, the people who make this school what it is.

Our Dance Orlando Campaign is well and truly underway, and we are determined to get our five selected Freedom dancers to Orlando this November for an incredible week of professional training, new experiences and the opportunity to perform centre court at the Kia Center during a live televised NBA game! ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ”ฅ

When you say โ€œIโ€™ve got this!โ€ out loudโ€ฆ and then you actually SMASH IT!! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ”ฅ

Our Inter-Adv Commercial class didnโ€™t just learn choreography, they were then given the challenge of following a rotating camera, performing the choreography while moving in a circleโ€ฆ without the routine ever being prepped that way! ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐ŸŽฅ

Esme went first for the challenge, and her positive mindset and affirmation of โ€œIโ€™ve got this!โ€ clearly worked! ๐Ÿ™Œ

In ONE TAKE, she kept her focus on the camera, stayed fierce in the movement AND didnโ€™t forget the choreography. Absolutely amazing, gorgeous girlie! ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ‘

Last nightโ€™s choreography class was so special! โœจ

After such an intense return from the summer holidays, with so many of our team and dancers going nine days (so far) back-to-back with training, competing and showcasing, it was honestly so lovely to slow things down for a moment.

A class focused on expanding movement, connecting with the music and really feeling every moment ๐Ÿค

And Martynaโ€ฆ your emotion in that solo ๐Ÿฅบ๐ŸŒŸ You genuinely had us fighting back the tears. What a beautiful performance! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปโค๏ธ .martini_dancer
