An update from the team: Bike park built and will be launched in a week. About 200 residents turned up to help and get involved plus a few vicars. Even a drum band to keep us entertained😃. The team stayed an extra day to finish the bike park and also various other house projects. What an experience! Thank you so very much to everyone who donated bike parts😁

The team are keeping us all in the loop on progress!!

So day 3 here was challenging. Stunning progress in the morning with about 30 youth and hired hands working on the cycle centre and riding tracks.

A little cloud so a bit cooler. Our first bike mechanic workshop went well and after it the little ones loved riding the bikes.

The afternoon went super hot About 2:30 one of the team smashed through a water pipe with a pick axe and we had a 4 m high fountain that was going to flood the site in an hour or so. We plugged the leak as best we could and rapidly built an emergency flood channel to the ditches we had already dug. Water repair man took an hour to sort it and waiting an hour for him to come. Complete nightmare. Anyway we finished the day with more than we had started but the flood took a lot of time and energy to deal with.
