This place genuinely has fishing fairytale vibes ✨

A tiny little lake, cosy accommodation options, firepits in the swims and some seriously big fish swimming around in just around an acre of water.

Don’t let the size fool you though — with plenty of pressure, the fish can be seriously tricky to catch!

We’ve visited Tom’s Pond a number of times over the years and it’s definitely one of those venues we always enjoy going back to.

🎣 SELBY 3 LAKES IN 60 SECONDS!

We’ve fished Selby quite a few times over the years and somehow… we’ve never blanked! 👀

There are carp to over 30lb, some really deep water to go at and plenty of gravelly areas to find.

It’s a cracking setup, there’s a good mix of species available too, and best of all…

🍳 There’s even a breakfast van!

Definitely one of those venues we keep enjoying every time we go back.

🎣 ORCHID LAKES IN 60 SECONDS! 🌿

One of those venues that really does offer a bit of everything…

🔥 The Big Lake — known as “The Home of the 30s” with carp to 50lb+
🎣 The Club Lake — perfect for a social and getting a bend in the rod
🏕️ Willow Pool — absolutely ideal for a family trip or a fishing escape with the Mrs!

We’ve still not tackled the famous Big Lake ourselves… but that might be changing soon 👀

We’ve fished both the Club Lake and Willow Pool though, and Orchid is definitely a venue we want to spend more time at.
